Business Restart

“So far so good” this app has help a start up with little to no start up budget look professional to my clients I am interested to see how long these guys keep up the good work and interested in seeing what’s next. This past year I have travelled a lot doing contract jobs for conventions and small events “Tiny Invoice” has helped me keep up with quick changes and add ones from my clients, making expense reports, and travel time “Tiny Invoice” is awesome even on the fly my only improvement suggestion would be the sync of info between IPhone and IPad does not sync very well so I just go with the iPad mostly when we do site visits but when a client needs info from me right away my iPhone is best so if the sync between the two is a bit stronger a definite Five stars from me

Almost perfect

I’m a self employed music teacher, and needed something simple to generate and email invoices to my clients. It gets the job done, no hassles, easy to set up, and dependable. The only thing I would like to see is that it would be great if the iPad app and the iPhone app would sync together; in other words, set up the business one time, and then have all of the invoices and settings sync from one device to the other over iCloud. They do sync now, to a degree, but it’s not real seamless, and sometimes things fall through the cracks if you, for instance, generate an invoice on your phone, and then expect to see it on your iPad. It will eventually show up, but not immediately. Sometimes also you can take a payment on one device, apply it to a specific invoice, but the payment won’t apply to the same invoice on the other device. For the time being, I have just avoided using two devices. Stick to either iPad, or iPhone, and you’ll be totally set.

The app erased all of my invoices

I’ve been a customer for over two years and have loved this app! I’ve used it daily to help grow my business. I have loved the detailed reporting and projections I can make with this app. Then it crashed on me and erased all of my data for the last two years. I have zero information on my Pro account now. I’ve reached out to the developers before leaving my review, but haven’t heard back from them. I’m so upset about this, and right before tax season too. Now I have to scramble to recreate all my unpaid invoices, the ones I still need to send out, etc... and find a new app that was as great as Tiny Invoice as well. It really has everything I’m looking for. I’m giving it two stars because up until this happened, I would have given it five stars. If this is a technical error and my information can be recovered, I’ll be removing this review. Until then, I feel I need to warn others of what can happen.

Glitchy and unhelpful with trying to sync with other devices and signing in with other devices.

I used Tiny Invoice for a few weeks. I set it up on my ipad initially while my laptop was being repaired by apple. When I received my laptop back from being repaired I downloaded and installed onto my laptop and tried to sign in using the password I used when setting up the account on my ipad. No luck using the same password with app or on the tiny invoice web based app, but the password still worked with my ipad. I reset the password to start over and to get all devices synced together since I had a few invoices on my ipad and weren't reflecting on my laptop tiny invoice app. Reset the password 5 different times and still cannot login to sync with any other device besides my ipad. I then paid for the subscription to see if that would work to help sync and login between my devices. No luck with that either. I can only say that this app is garbage, won't let me use it as described, can't sync, and can't even login after resetting password 5 times. Don't recommend this app nor it's services since it doesn't work correctly. Good thing I didn't rely on this or my business would be a nightmare with keeping track of invoices. I'd give 0/5 stars if possible. Get your stuff together, Tiny Invoice.

Great concepts

The app is a great concept and convenient to use on the go. However the usability needs work. Such as the ability to change the email within the application. As my business develops as does my professionalism in wanting my email to match my business, Tiny Invoice cannot offer that. Customer service is poor, they have no direct contact to answer a question via phone, it’s all email. That process has taken anyway from three days to a week plus. Great for getting your business started but as it grows I have little confidence the app can keep up. I recently got a new phone, the data didn’t transfer properly from old phone to new phone. After not hearing back from customer service I had to manually correct each error, which was very time consuming. I recommend only buying subscription monthly as if you pay for the annual they won’t refund money.

Absolutely perfect!

I love this app. I originally started using it about 5 years ago and when I started a separate business recently, I was extremely happy that I could add a second business for a reasonable cost. Everything else was not cost effective. I’m not a big business but the professional look is important. They have it all. Invoices look great! The tracking of all your sales in every fashion that you could imagine is awesome as well. I work from the phone and the ability to print, email, or text is extremely valuable. I hope to be using Tiny Invoice for many years to come! Side note, I was able to import my logo to the invoice, size it and make it personal. Thank you for such an easy tool that I can use and stay focused on working and not “office working” I probably spent more time on this review than I do billing clients! But that’s ok, it’s worth it! AAA+++

Great for Self-employed & User-friendly!

Used for over a year now and it’s been so helpful! There are a couple of small changes I’d like but this app has exactly what I was looking for AND need as a self employed person. It was very easy to upload my logo. I like emailing right to client for estimate and invoices and being able to customize amounts and add as many different options as possible for items. Also has a standard email & notes template you can customize. I’d like to create a few of those to select per client but otherwise it is excellent.It also gives you running totals for outstanding invoices and that’s great for keeping on track of receivables!The time or expense feature is awesome and also adding tax ( or not) to items automatically.

Almost 5stars

Im really happy this app is available and I hope it never goes away or starts charging to use it. I would even pay a little for it if asked. A few things to address that would change my rating to 5 stars:—I’d like the option to remove the due date.—I can’t figure out how to remove items from an invoice... so far I’ve had to redo the whole thing if I mistakenly add an item.—when I add an item, at the top of the screen are ITEM, TIME and EXPENSES tabs, but if I click on time or expenses it says “not enough information”. I wish I could use those functions , if only cuz they’ve put it out there, but at that point I just think “this is dumb” and add the stuff in items, which would be fine and probably easier overall but not being able to use these functions just makes me wonder what I’m missing out on. This seems kinda dumb. Either make it easy to use and/or functional or take the option out cuz every time I get to that screen I’m compelled to click on the time and expenses tabs just to see if I can use them, and I never can so it’s just wasting my time.Other than that, this is a great app. I only make a few invoices a month so it’s not worth paying what other apps charge. I don't need anything fancy. This app is a free, simple to use, no frills invoice and estimate maker which is exactly what I need and i really appreciate being able to use it.

No tracking of inventory

Absolutely love this app so far and I’ve been using it for a couple of months now. I like that it gives you several invoice design options and can change the color. 3 things I do not like about it…1. It former give me the option to keep the tax button turned off. 2. It gives me the option to input unit items, but when I sell something it doesn’t subtract any items. Idk it I’m just not using the app correctly but I don’t see where units pertain to anything if it doesn’t do anything once an item is sold. 3. I can’t sync/open it on my laptop. If one of the app creators/developers could enlighten me on any of I would greatly appreciate it.

Love this App!

I have a very small seasonal business and I don’t earn enough to spend it on an to keep track of money in and out. This app does it for me and it’s free! Really easy to use and I can send pics with my invoices as well as send duplicates to my email. Would be nice to send an invoice/estimate/bill without prices to a customer and if they want a break down I could select that option and send a new one. It would also be good if in the app I can put my cost of the item and what I make on each sale.I will continue to use the app and watch it grow and improve. When I have a question, I email the people who made it and they return with a response in a day or two.
