Needed this
Honestly I have been waiting for something that is more aligned with my own preferences instead of what everyone else is interested in. I spend a half hour every time I try to find a movie to watch or a new show to start and then end up going to bed before I get half way through. Finally something better...
Saving time and relationships
This app is great. It’s saved my relationship with my partner after hours of going through the streamers trying to find the right show. Now we agree on something within 5 minutes of opening up the spoke, rather than wasting 30 minutes to only put on a rerun of a baking show.

The Spoke is one if the most helpful apps I’ve ever downloaded! The app works seemlessly and is perfect if I have no idea what to watch! I love the fact that I can connect with friends and see what they enjoy. I love the food features, the categories make it super easy to find anything I want! Can’s say enought good things about this app!

Met the developer in my Uber. He explained the app so vividly to me I could visualize in my mind. And you know what, it worked just as he said. So dope! I use it to remember restaurants my my wife and I go too. And future places to go as well. I heard they let you know what’s streaming now too. Awesome guy. Awesome app!
Search is finally personalized!
I’ve had a frustrating time using other search sites due to the fact that my interests tend to be pretty different from most. While the other apps don’t take this into account, the Spoke does a great job of aggregating the interests of my friends to give me high-quality recommendations. Seeing what my friends are rating and saving gives me more trust that I’m finding the best experiences for myself.
Good UI lacking in some important features
I like the user interface and the concept is pretty cool but the functionality of the app hasn’t been smoothed out yet. I can’t find reviews or ratings for the restaurants. It also doesn’t accurately label how expensive the restaurants are. And unfortunately, there seems to be only one picture per restaurant. I guess all these problem would be solved if there were more people on the app reviewing and adding info to the restaurants, but for now the app isn’t very useful.
About time
Been waiting for someone to make an app like this and these guys nailed it. So much easier to figure what to watch now across all my streaming channels.
Lifesaver (time saver)
Okay so I absolutely love this app. I used to waste so much time trying to find a tv show to watch and then figuring out how to watch it but this has completely removed that issue. I just pop on the app and filter, bonus that I can see how my friends rated the show. On that note, the restaurant function is so great. I hate going onto Yelp or google for restaurant reviews where half of the reviews are spam or are talking about how hard it is to get into a restaurant instead of actually reviewing it. It’s so easy to just see what my friends/family think of it via the spoke. The sync feature is actually the best! I surprised my bf with a birthday dinner to a place that had been on his list of places he wanted to try, and he was so stoked. Definitely recommend, you need (!!!) to download.
