A New Way to Help Others!

From the aesthetic and easy-to-use interface to the ability to contribute to important causes in a way that even a poor college student can, this app is amazing! It is just so great that they have implemented a social media app type function to this app, enabling us as donors to become more involved. Their informational guides on each charity (that they have verified and support) are more than educational, and I have found a really great new way to do my part as a citizen of the world.

Making a difference

I’ve been using this app quite actively for a period of weeks now and I have to say that the overall experience of the app along with its impact-driven focus fulfilled something that I have not experienced on other social media platforms. As someone who is at most a passive consumer of social media, I found REM’s content very engaging. Seeing different posts from many people and seeing the issues others care about was eye-opening to me. I started using it along with a group of friends and sharing issues we each cared about through REM really added to the experience. I also liked how there are many charities listed and described in detail on the app so if I want to donate I know my donation is going to a good cause and is only being used for that purpose. Overall, would definitely recommend to anyone looking to make social impact without knowing how to start.

Unfiltered social good

A lot of big social media platforms used to be incredible tools for social good. However , in the current day and age these platforms have become very cluttered with content that take away from a lot of social good movements. I personally saw this with BLM. Rem is a great solution helping to provide a platform that makes it super easy to get involved in social good and Rem also keeps social good at the center of the platform. I have enjoyed using it so far and would totally recommend to others!!

Love the app!

I highly recommend the app to anyone looking to donate to charities or learn about charities that aren’t shady! i love the ‘for you’ feature because i get to read about causes i am interested in helping and having the option to donate at the end. I not only get to learn more about the topic but also am able to send help immediately. Lastly, the process to actually donate (putting in my credit card number) felt very secure and was easy to understand! Would highly recommend the app!

Nothing like any app I have on my phone

I downloaded Rem because I wanted to be more informed about what was going on in the world and try and make a difference. After using the app for a couple days I can say that I am very pleased with the app. It has a clean interface and setup that is easy to use and navigate. Also it has an engagement based donation feature that gives the users the ability to make an impact just by liking, commenting, and sharing posts with others which is my favorite part of the app.

Rem is a must-have!!!

I have been using this app for a few weeks and it has made my life so much easier. I used to try to sort through the massive clutter of charities online to find great causes to donate to, but Rem has completely removed that painstaking process for me by recommending hand-picked, cost-effective, and impactful organizations to give to, all sorted by mission. They also recently launched a community feature that is bustling with daily discussions and material on topics that users find meaningful to them. Game-changing.

This app and social network is truly one of a kind. I can’t recommend it enough. Just from being on the app, I have learned so much about the world from other people’s posts from around the globe. PLUS I am making an impact simply by liking and commenting.All I can say is wow. Can’t wait to see where this goes. It’s also a great way for anyone to spend time during the pandemic, if they want to make a difference in the world even from quarantine.

Incredible platform!!

As a member of the rem team I was one of the first ones to start posting on rem. I am not usually a big social media user but with rem it is different because you are talking about important things that you care about, to people who also care. Also, the more you interact the more impact you have because for every like/comment/post rem donates enough to either fortify meals or remove carbon from the atmosphere. Even when you aren’t donating, using rem is helping people. rem also does a lot of research and vetting into the charities that it recommends, so you know that your donations are going to the right places and doing the most good! Overall, rem is an incredible platform for anyone interested in making or learning about social impact.

Humbling

Never before have I felt humbled every time I opened an app. Every time I open REM, I am challenged. There are too many people to help and injustices to be solved for me to ignore and swipe to another app.REM is a good place to start giving and helping as a habit, instead of a one-time thing. And you’ll be making undeniably real positive change - you won’t find any bad or wasteful charities on REM. You don’t even have to donate; every like, comment, and post raises money.This world is more than just me, my family, my social circle, and even America. If you want to do more with your life than just making money and friends, find your cause. You’d be surprised at how much of an impact YOU can really make.
