Good game but could be better

I like the game in general but it's not optimized for iphone 5 and 5s because what you see in the sides of the screen it's not the game in-self it's just a background and the special button it's a great idea but it need to be more Accurate

Could not ask for more

I was not expecting to like the touch controls as much as I did. This is the first fighting game on a mobile device I have enjoyed. Very thought out port, you can tell dot emu put a lot of time into it and it paid off. Worth every penny at $3.99 considering that would only get you 8 plays in an arcade (if your lucky). Get it, you won't be sorry.

Garbage

I bought this app, the KOF 98 and the Samurai Showdown 2 app. All of these apps are unplayable. Whoever set up the control design is ridiculous. Very very poor design. I can only reside the buttons and the control field for the joystick takes up the whole screen. Can’t move any of the other buttons around to set up controls. I went into all three games and tried to play anyways. I tried to hard for games I pay for when I can play COD Mobile for free and it works. If I could get my 9 bucks back for these games I would. Beware of anything DOTEMU.

Works for iphone 7

Controls are fine for iphone 7 at least. People complaining are most likely iphone 10 or higher. Great game, but wish there were more modes to play. Control editing is a little finicky but it gets the job done. Multiplayer could use a little work (goes through game center).

Only get if you have a proper controller!!!!

My favorite fighting game. This seems like a great port, and a steal for the price, but I only bought it because of other reviews that said the touch controls are good, and I really can't understand how someone could say that in good faith. I should have known better I guess, but I don't think it's that crazy to expect "good" to mean a higher standard than "just barely works at all"

Great it is.

Kof 98 is a great fighting game; this classic has it all from a deep roster to lots of moves and combos, and the animations, oh the animations! The game itself is easily a five star title, however the the virtual controls are not as good as they could be; Garou's work great and should be adopted here. Still very playable and a must have unless you own a neo geo- worth it on iOS definitely!

Please update for IOS 13

The controls are not adaptable to the new IOS system and you can’t even edit them. They turned out to be too big after the system update and takes up to half of the screen. Hope this could be fixed soon.

Bluetooth

The game is awesome, playing it make me go way back to when I was a kid, the only think that I would recommend is to fix the multiplayer Bluetooth connection and also add a difficult level from 1-10. Anyways that's all keep the good work.

3-Star Rating for now because...

1. The Bluetooth multiplayer won't connect. All DoTEMU SNK games with "Bluetooth multiplayer feature" do not work.... And they do not update or fix this problem.2. The Achievement, the one which you should get after playing with all of the characters... Is broken. I've played with all of the characters but I still haven't gotten it. 3. The controls is problematic and pathetic at times, and it's unfair that certain characters' SP moves are very few in comparison to others. I honestly believe that SNK should find another company who will port their classic arcade games on the iOS or on other mobile platforms because DotEMU is not reliable. A couple of good things that I can say about this game is that it's my favorite KOF game and that you can really adjust the difficulty (like make it easy) unlike KOF97 and Samurai Shodown II (which I will not recommend anyone to buy because it's unenjoyable to play).

Hey SNK! It’s been 4 months since IOS 13 makes this game unplayable!

Like the others have pointed out, since the release of IOS 13 the controls are out of whack and make this game unplayable. Also the title screen looks smaller which I don’t like. Hopefully Snk you fix this fast, and avoid the smaller title screen. In fact, try to keep the game screen as fitted as possible to the new phone screens. Then I’ll give this game a five stars. Till then though, guys stay away from snk games if you have ios 13 and above.
