Great story

Like others have mentioned, compared to the prior 2 games, chapter 3 is more story than puzzles. Though the story was well done, great voice acting too. Nice to see more complex character development and not just a “good vs bad” story.Though it was a long game...wish it had more of the complex puzzles like the prior 2. And not sure if it’s a glitch, but at least 5-6 times, an item or inactive area didn’t light up or work...so I spent a long time re-tracing my steps ...only to go back... and voilá, that interactive area NOW works. Maybe it’s some kind of activation delay? But it can get frustrating to run around (or even to use a clue) only to find out that what I was doing the first time was correct. The movements are smooth but a lot of back and forth ....pinch-in-swipe-pinch-out-swipe-doubletap-tap-pinch ...can get tedious.Bottom line...it’s still a great game with beautiful graphics and proper feeling of immersion. Background music was spot on awesome. Gonna miss Da Vinci. But can’t wait for their next series to be released!Cheers

Game not Saving on Closing

Is there a reason that the game does not save on closing? I have had to restart chapter 2 several times, including having to start from the beginning. It has become very frustrating and I am tempted to put the game away, even though I have thoroughly enjoyed all the games that the studio creates. The games are marvelous and interesting, therefore I would like to find the solution the this problem. Thank you.

The Greatest Game and The Most Confusing Glitch

I thoroughly enjoy the game, but this glitch…So I got to chapter 2 on the crossbow section and experienced a harsh glitch that force shut down the game. When I go back into the game, it deleted my profile, and when I create a new profile and complete chapter 1 again it jumped me to chapter 3. When my device died and continued on my profile again it started me on chapter 2. I still beat the game but THAT glitch was a mindf*

Too hard to read

I love the blue brain games and have waited a long time for a sequel to the wonderful House of da Vinci series. What I find extremely hard is that I cannot read the tiny print that the hints and the tax during the game are written. There’s no way to make them bigger. I have to get a magnifying glass or really strong glasses to try to read this. Otherwise it has the same excellence as the other games and as soon as I can find a magnifying glass I’m looking forward to playing it. Developers, kudos on your work, but please please please make the font able to be magnified!! It is the only reason this is getting four stars instead of five! Please continue to make excellent games as they are rare in the App Store!

Amazing - I am one happy camper.

I have not been disappointed at all with this latest release of Davinci. So far there have been no glitches, issues, complaints. I am on my 4th evening of playing (about 3-4 hours per night - best guesstimate) and I am pretty sure that I am on the last chapter. I have depended on the hint system a lot more in this release than in past releases. I try very hard not to use hints, but I found that this game was a bit less intuitive in parts. Sometimes I just needed a nudge to figure out where to focus my efforts but a couple of times I needed full out help. All in all, the game was fantastic! The graphics were great. I enjoyed the plot (which I usually dont care about), and I did not encounter any glitches on my 9th gen iPad. The movement of the character wasnt as smooth as previous games but it did not impede the game in any way as you typically focused on bigger areas in this game and less on secret compartments etc. All in all, fantastic. Thanks for a great game. Please continue making similar releases in the future.Edit - game took 10 hours to play. Just finished. Still thrilled with it!!

More story-based than puzzles, but love this series

I absolutely love this whole series and was so excited for this third version. It’s truly a work of art, but this installment was definitely more story-based and less puzzle-based, which was what I loved about the first two. Where the first two really relied on puzzle skills and mini-“games”, this one required more of just bringing one item to a different area… miss the more fun mechanical and logic games of the first two. I didn’t enjoy it as much. Regardless, wonderful work and series as s whole.

Maybe it's just me

I started playing and encountered the past/present crossbow. I need to destroy the giant jugs. I wasted some arrows, but figured out I needed to go into the present to pick up some more. Great. The only problem is that now that I have more ammunition, I am unable to aim the crossbow. The (sight? I'm not sure of the terminology) viewfinder thing is missing again. I've looked all over in the past and present to replace it, but I haven't had any luck. I guess I'm stalled? Maybe it's my fault. Maybe I overlooked something, but I feel like maybe the devs overlooked replacing the crossbow's viewfinder. Idk.

Loving the game until i got stuck in a glitch in Chapter 3!

This game has had me glued to the breakfast table every morning before work. I am now stuck in a glitch. I took screen shots. It happened when I found the Pope’s secret chamber downstairs. I found the puzzle to the right of a door and decided to check the rest of the room out before working on the puzzle. There was a way to enter “somewhere” to the left so I did and it was a dark room with a sky light and a letter on the floor. I picked up the letter and read it, then turned around and it won’t let me leave because it thinks I am trying to go back out the main door. I installed the upgrade but it didn’t fix it. I am going to now have to restart the chapter I guess. I will update my review after I see if restarting the chapter works.

Bug in cave with crane

I can’t complete the game because of a bug with attaching the hook on the crane to the loop on the trapdoor in the cave. I’ve spent 15 minutes just trying to get the hook through the loop. The graphics here are bad, as the hook moves through the solid part of the loop, glitching through it, and it’s flat-out impossible to get it in the loop. I’d love to finish the game, but this is making it impossible. Can you either fix it or refund me?Edit: that hook is AWFUL. I restarted the chapter, suffered through that horrible opening-the-cave puzzle again, forgot about the bag, and now I can’t attach the hook to the bag. I’m done with this buggy game. WAY too expensive for such a game-breaking bug. I recommend you just make the hook click on to something with no manipulation, since this is simply ridiculous.Don’t buy this game until they’ve done some bug fixing, y’all.

Difficult and arbitrary controls hiding solutions

From the first moments I was frustrated by how difficult it is to move and look around. Some objects have very limited perspectives — but guess what, some of them you have to look at the back of to solve, even though it seems like the perspective would be locked like so many places. Though the first one of the series didn’t bother me too much, this one makes it clear that the designers ought to be copying what works in the Room series much more closely. This is just an awkward and frustrating disappointment in comparison.
