I highly recommend this app!

Based in the international work of Nonviolent Communication (NVC), the Empathy Set app is a beautifully simple yet powerful tool for developing a language of empathy with ourselves and others. Feelings and needs words are offered in the form of digital cards as well as lists, and are organized in different ways that support optimal usability. You can choose shuffle, alphabetical, and thematic presentation of the words, as well as different sizes of the digital card deck or list of words to choose from. You start with a particular situation and end with potential solution ideas. At the core is the power of a 3.0 version of the classic “I-statement” - “I feel ___ because of needs I have for ___ .” This app is a wonderful example of how technology can support the empathic connection and cooperation we humans need to create success and happiness in our own lives and work and a healthy, collaborative, and sustainable world. - John Kinyon

Fantastic communication tool

I absolutely love this App. I was able to use them with my son with Down Syndrome to work through a situation that had arisen at his school recently. After going through all the feelings cards, we were able to narrow them down to 8 feelings shown in the image below, that really helped me to understand what was going on with him at the time. HIGHLY recommend these as a tool to improve communication!
