Good, but hard to scroll pages

If you have ADHD, this will be wonderful for you though expensive. I found that the premium voices did not work for some reason after I enabled all permissions, so something was odd about that when they started suddenly working after my free trial ended...a bit suspicious. But the MAJOR issue is the pdf will not scoll down all the time. It freezes, this is not helpful at all if I cannot scroll it myself even if the program is scrolling the document.

Stopped speaking and trouble going to specific place

I like this app. The only problem I'm having is that a couple of times it would move through the document without hearing anything. I had to unload and reload the app to fix that. Also it is not clear how to choose a specific plae you want to read from and then go to that place.

Works very well

I use the free version only. Is it perfect? No. It sometimes makes mistakes. But is it a great tool to listen to a scholarly article or work report during a long walk? Yes. It is really amazing how well it works.

doesnt work well for someone with physical disability.

Every five minutes of listening to this app transcribe, I half to try and manually use my computer in order to correct the speech mistakes it makes, because each time it turns a page, instead of continuing onto the next paragraph, it starts reciting the copyright material printed on the sides. I can't even find where to subscribe for a premium subscription, if you are temporarily or permanently disabled, don't get this app it's trash and will waste more time and causing more pai than if you actually tried reading materials yourself.

Poorly made, terrible app

Do not waste your money on this app. I’m a college student, so I have a ton of readings to do daily. I bought this thinking it would ease the process. Nope! It reads well enough, but I spend enough time trying to get it to scroll that it ends up not saving me time at all. If you plan to use this app to highlight and make annotations while also listening then know it freezes for no reason constantly making it really difficult to make annotations. I use this on my MacBook. And only on my MacBook. Garbage app.

It is convenient

I have this app on my phone and on my laptop with the premium version. The only problem I have is that it doesn’t work on my phone, it works on my laptop just fine. When ever I tried using it on my phone it crashes

Buggy

I use this app to help me read through academic journal articles for school. Its very helpful and tends to do a good job for most texts. The app tries to read texts that are scanned copies but doesnt always do the best job and I end up reading those on my own. Sometimes when the paper has columns and they are too close together, the app will read the lines as if they are all one line. Probably the most frustrating thing about the app is that (with the free version) everytime you stop or pause the reading, when you start again there is a popup for the full version. There are also times that it will crash or even re-read sections over and over. I wonder if this is intentional in the free version to encourage you to buy the full version. But at the same time, these issues have me hesitant to buy the full version.

Really helpful!

I use this app every day for my grad school readings. It's really helpful to follow along and being able to pause and play whenver is great! The developer is also very responsive to suggestions (including adding a Control F feature when I requested), and overall highly recommend this app.

Good, but could be better. Gets the job done.

I really apprecicate this app, it has helped out so much in my classes. Definately worth gettting, and paying the $10 for. Things that can be improved:sometimes it will be reading a paragraph and glitch at the end and start reading it over. If you are not watching it closely or paying enough attention, it will just stay in a loop. Easy fix, once you notice. Just pause highlight the first word of the next paraghraph and press play. second thing that could be improved, if it's even a possiblility, is skipping the header of each page. It will always ready what is at the top of my text books, which sometimes is just the page number, other times its an entire website. third and final improvenent, sometimes the words aren't pronounced correctly because it does them phonetically.Overall, if you need a document read, like a text book that's in PDF, this app does the job.
