My take on this app

I downloaded this app out of curiosity after seeing the ads. The ads on their own are disrespectful and can cause some to have body image issues by saying the character is ugly because of body hair. But I do believe the app has a good premise. Playing mini games and collecting things for a storyline, it sounds fun. I believe if the main game was not about how the character looks and rather more connected to the house and romance story it would be a better app.

I love this game

When you first download it you think “Oh just taking hair off! This should be easy!” But it gives surprises and makes the experience so much better. When I first downloaded and saw the love story and other things I fell in love with the game.

This is demeaning.

I personally feel like this game is demeaning to woman with body hair which is completely normal because every single human, whatever you’re gender is, have body hair. With all due respect, I don’t think this game should be available to anyone. It’s inferring that girls/women are disgusting or ugly with body hair which their obviously not. I’m not saying you can’t play this game because it’s demeaning. I’m just saying that some ads that this game comping owns are extremely demeaning and rude. For example, this one ad had a man waiting at the end of the finish line but when the girl finished she still had a lot of body hair. The man looked dissatisfied and disappointed. He looked disgusting and did not “want” her. I feel like that’s extremely rude and hurtful to girls/women around the world that refuse or don’t want to shave their body hair. I’m not saying this game is bad and it shouldn’t exist. I’d just like, for my sake and other girls/women that agree with me’s sake, to change or make new ads that aren’t that demeaning and rude.

dont get this app.

i saw an ad for this game and just downloaded it cuz i was tired of the ads and i was bored. Anyways this game is HORRIBLE. It makes body hair, being plus sized and body odor seem horribe. Lemme tell you IT IS NOT. Its completely normal, and body hair helps protect you from harmful bacteria. That being said i am not trying to tell ppl to stop shaving, if you like shaving good for you! But these are the kinds of games that cause girls today to have body dismorphia, eating disorders, depression, etc. i am absolutely disappointed and disgusted by this app. Do BETTER.

I got the game cause I saw the adds and it looked like a pretty fun game to play. I understand the other reviews saying that it can be offensive to others and a bit mature with the twerking but games there are games like that, But i have gotten used to them. My problem with this game is the log and ads. I understand if a game has ads that's fine but I get ads randomly and I'll be in the middle of the level and I'll get an ad and it'll continue my Run and make me lose. Or I'll get serious lag and when it stops lagging I have to start over to try again and even with that I get ads and whatever I try to do either lags or gives me an ad and sometimes the game is unplayable for me. I think having a story is cool but I can barely keep up with the story with so many ads and lag. But that's all I have to say I hope this can be a bit helpful.

Awful

It’s not about the amount of ads or any bugs/glitches in the game, but I suggest you read this before installation.Games like these project bad images into young girls telling the, that they won’t be “pretty” or “lady-like” with body hair, and it’s awful. Not only that, but at the end of the levels you start twerking…On level two, you meet a guy. While I haven’t fully completed the game, I can tell that the sole purpose is to get a guys attention.

The problem with a lot of apps these days

As a young child myself, I can definitely empathize with most of the one star reviews from parents and guardians seeing their children playing these games. Games like these can lead to self image issues, and it teaches normal bodily functions like growing body hair is bad. Body hair is a way for our bodies to be protected from bacteria, so body hair is a good thing.People, especially children, have an impressionable subconsciousness that can be influenced by others. Beauty standards are no stranger to this, and give many children Body Dismorphia, and even eating disorders. The parents are absolutely in the right here from helping their children maintain a sustainable body image so they do not have to worry about their looks while trying to live a normal life. This game is 12+, but even children over the age of that can still be easily upset by things like body hair or being plus sized just because people make games like this and introduce young people to psychological disasters.End of the story, body hair is completely normal, its not dirty to have body hair. You can shave it if you want to, I am not saying that is bad, however it is certainly a normal thing.

Absolutely offensive and rude.

This game does have the correct age rating, as for when you get a new high score. The woman twerks. This is why it is 12+ and one of the two reasons why I put this at one star, if I could, I would’ve put it at zero. This app is extremely offensive to those who are plus sized, or have long natural body hair. The body is super fit when you get all the hair off. When you start the run, you aren’t that fit, also, you have pants instead of a skirt, I bet the creators said these words “She will look better if her legs aren’t as big.” As if they are fat shaming, also, they make her legs as skinny as sticks. This is why I would rate this game 1 star.

My only question: why?

I walked In to call my daughter In for dinner and saw her crying. I asked her what’s wrong and she showed me the app. I knew she struggled with bullies at school because of her arm and leg hair. This was the last straw, I don’t understand why people are aloud to still make apps like this. I also downloaded the app to see if it was just advertisement but no. It’s making the “hairy” person look slouched over. I do understand that it’s used to make money but why can’t we find a different way without making little girls cry over an advertisement?
