Bad controls. Fun game.

This is a really fun game. One of the best “Mario kart” / “Twisted metal” type games out there. What bugs me the most, though, is the controls for the controller. You have to use the right control stick for acceleration. I get it. You’re supposed to feel like you’re driving a remote control car. But I hate it. I would MUCH rather use the trigger and just push A to fire a weapon. Heck, I’d take holding down A for gas. It’s such a pain to hold that stick up in that awkward position while trying to race. What a shame. Just let us customizethe controls! It ruined a very good racing game.

Great game for Apple TV (hoping M1 Mac too???)

Solid game, loads of fun, great graphic, creative concept. It just needs better keyboard support for m1.

Fun but frustrating

I’ve enjoyed playing the game, and moving up through stages to obtain the best cars fully upgraded. The tracks are fun, richly animated and I love driving on the snowboard. I gave up though about 3/4 way through the trophy series. I’m stuck on a pursuit game and can’t catch the car in time. The controls on iOS just aren’t there. Braking in a straight line is hit or miss if your timing is off, and using boost in a right hand turn is out of the question. Otherwise a fun, challenging game.

It's just ok

It's nice that this is one of the very very few racing games that isn't pay to win. The downside is the extreme difficulty. You always start out in last place, struggle to get to the lead. You then make one human mistake and watch as all the cars behind you instantly zip past you. The AI cars all work against you, some sacrificing their own position if it means ramming you into a wall. These are just a few of the things I noticed. There are no difficulty settings. If you've played racing games before and know how devs will make the AI cheat in order to add artificial difficulty, this is just another one of them. Half the time it's fun. The other half you wish the game were something physical you could throw out the window. Honestly, if you want extreme difficulty then this is your thing. If you want something a little more "normal" then best to avoid this game and this particular developer altogether.

A little twisted fun

Always hoping to see something like the twisted metal series on the iOS platform, so I gave this game a try. It’s no twisted metal, but it’s still a fun game to play when taking a break from everything else that life throws at ya.

Could be fun

Add the ability to customize the control schemes and this would get 5 stars. As it is, you either have touch controls with no control over acceleration or you play with a controller that uses a thumb stick for acceleration/braking. Why?? Give me the choice to use buttons for gas and brake, like every other game ever made🙄

Unbelievable

This game is ridiculous. Potentially I can see how it could be a fun game but, as it is now, the supplied tracks are impossibly difficult, especially with the low budget vehicles you’re forced to use. Yes, you can upgrade them but even upgraded to the max the tracks are impossible to navigate making progress near impossible. I suppose you could sit and grind for days on end but I don’t know anybody that would want to do that. Also the vehicle controls are terrible even after fully upgrading. I can’t understand the logic of creating a game so difficult that playing it ceases to be fun and is nothing but frustrating. I deleted the game. Maybe at some point I might try it again when the developers start listening to their users.

A suggestion

Grid autosport’s control is perfect for touch screen, could also be used in here.
