The ads.... it’s gotten out of control.

I used to love this game, I remembered it recently and figured I’d redownload it. Big mistake. I love the concept and the entire game, really, but Jesus Christ you can’t go 20 seconds without the whole screen turning into an ad you HAVE TO watch. Every time you do ANYTHING, there is another ad. I can’t play the game for even a full minute without getting extremely irritated. It ruins the entire game, the humor and charm is overshadowed by the ads. I would have rated the game 5 stars if the ads hadn’t gotten out of control. Now I struggle to give it even 2.

Fun, but...

The game itself is a lot of fun - I’ve had it for a few years and always find myself going back to it. However, the incessant ads are so annoying. There’s always guaranteed a pop up after I go to and from the home screen and even after closing the game and reopening it, an ad still pops up. I’d give it five stars, but the ads have forced me to take that rating down. Ads are there to get people to buy things, sure, but when they show up continuously in such an obnoxious manner, it’s not going to work in the game or advertiser’s favor.

Too many pop up ads take away from a well put together game

It's a cute little app that you try to keep your Mola alive. It's a good time waster. That being said, I know ads are how these apps stay alive but the pop up ones are beyond annoying and why this game isn't rated higher. It's extremely annoying to have random ads pop up as you click on the screen. Switching between screens or loading is understandable but no, full pop up ads that get on your last nerve and make you put the game down. Can you tell I'm frustrated by them?

Really fun but hard to grow Mola Mola!

So I’ve just saw this game 2 days ago and started playing it was addicting no it didn’t ruin my life but ive been playing it every day really fun 10/10 for that, the transformations are cool to watch but it’s really hard to evolve non-Celebrity Mola Mola so I did surveys I still have a hard time with that that’s much it tho! 8.5/10

Help

Unsure if this is an intended feature or not, but after my tenth death, I keep hearing the voice of a small child saying “help” while crying nonstop whenever I open my game. It doesn’t stop until I close the game, and then starts up again after I open it. It’s a bit freaky, but otherwise it’s an amazing game.

Fun game but with one big issue

I really like this game, it’s fun clicking around and watching the mola grow. I actually don’t really mind the ads, they’re a little annoying but not as frequent as some people are saying and I think are a reasonable amount for a free to play game. So, what’s the problem then? Well, when waiting for a new adventure, there’s a button that says “kill time.” When clicking this, a bunch of offers come up for activities that look like they could be worth doing to earn mola points, but then when you click them, they don’t work properly, disqualify you from the survey and give no points for no apparent reason, and/or put up webpages that seem malicious. Luckily this feature isn’t mandatory, but that it’s even there at all is a big problem and is, in my opinion, significant enough to cost the game 2 stars. Without that issue, it would be 5 stars! I’d love to see more stages to grow your mola into and more deaths to unlock, but that isn’t necessary for the game, it would just be nice in an update someday.

Been playing since 2015 and still enjoy it in 2022

I’ve downloaded this game again after I recently saw a reference to this game in a manhwa/webtoon called: Happy Ending for the Time-Limited Villainess/The Villainess’ Days are Numbered!Highly recommend both this game and the manhwa/webtoon. And this game is still as enjoyable as it was 7 years back. 10/10 game and 11/10 for humor. This is long overdue, but thanks for translating this game and making it available to the English-speaking audience!

love everything about it

if you like cute things, fun biology facts, and a slightly dark sense of humor, this is the perfect app for you. the gameplay is unique and refreshing.. sometimes you want to live, sometimes you want to die, but you never want to give up! and yes, the ads from TAPJOY are annoying, but it's absolutely worth the 99 cents you can pay to hide them. survive! mola mola keeps me company anytime i'm bored and i highly recommend it

Still a cute game, but....

Really though, I do love this game. I played it when it came out, and I'm back around playing it again.BUT these ads are ridiculous, and I can't rate it any higher than a two because of that. If it was non-invasive ads around the screen with maybe one pop up from time to time, it wouldn't be bad. Heck, that's how it used to be if I remember right. Now, I find myself feeding my Mola as quickly as possible, because 60 seconds in BAM! Guaranteed pop up. Click into any screen? Pop up. I've started exiting out as soon as an ad starts because it takes less time for my game to reload than for me to have to watch through an ad long enough to have the X button pop up. And pathetically enough the game is on to me--now I'm getting popups within seconds of opening the app, often two or three in succession. Freaking hell, Select Button Games, if you want money that badly just make it an app you have to pay for by default. I'm a completionist, so now I'm playing as quickly as possible so I can delete the app again just go get it out of the way. This is no longer fun.

Adorable and fun!

This game has really good bg music and it’s simple, cute, and actually pretty fun! You don’t have to feel like you have to buy Mola points or anything and once you do your daily you can come back again in an hour or 3 to get the adventure point charged up and then go back to doing what ever you are doing. I miss games that aren’t money hungry and actually put the time to make it fun. Plus everytime mola dies there’s a cute information on why it dies and an art piece
