Worth a 1 time purchase of $8.99

I loved this game. It had the right balance of story progression to necessary grinding and upgrading of equipment. The ads do get annoying so I ended up buying a one time purchase of $8.99 for the bundle of stronger equip, faster walking, and faster fishing (the easiest food to replenish health). I was able to use it for the second playthrough (hard mode). I beat both playthroughs and they were both enjoyable. It shows that you don’t need flashy graphics and art to have a good game.

Loved the first game

Loved the first game. The balance felt great! This one had far more grind. There were a few times when I had to gather x which felt like a bit of a grind. A few of the materials gathering for the crafting components grindy too. I really loved the balance of the first game. I'll try the third game but I hope it's more like the first. Overall, this was still a fun game.

I think I broke the game.

I’m at the part where you need to find 4 figurines. I found 3 but I can’t find the 4th. I searched everywhere for days. I finally looked up where to go and the videos show the character placing a bridge across the ravine. When I go there though it just says “something must be used here” and I have one bridge in my inventory but it also says “maxed” next to it. Which is weird because I had built 3 bridges at once before so I know one isn’t the max. But I am not able to craft any more and I can’t use it anywhere. I’ve also completed the hanglider but have no idea where to use it.

Another great game

Similar to its 1st sequel, this is another great game with some more improvement. Similar tactic can still be used with this sequel - grind for material and food. There are more depth in this sequel and I recommend playing he first sequel (Lost Treasure) before playing this one. The reason is that the first one is easier and would give you some more insight of how to work with the game.Even though the control pad is still awkward for iPad, again, the game is great overall. I recommend people to try it out.

Amazing game amazing devs!

Okay so I don’t ever write reviews on games. But this one is a totally different story! I found the first one awhile ago and just recently played the third and once I beat it I played all three over again. After playing the second I’ve looked everywhere for a game like this! It’s just one of my favorite types of games and they just deserve such great reviews because this game is simple yet challenging! I hope you keep making more because I will always be here to support! I’ve even boughten items I didn’t even need just to support you guys! Keep up the good work and please make more!

I love this game 👍🏻

I love this game so far. I’ve only reached chapter two and I have to say it’s awesome. I love pixelated games and I love the Zelda vibe this game gives. There is also a small amount of adds which I like. In short if you like Legend of Zelda games or really any pixel/surviver/adventure games, you’ll love this game. Sincerely, Love&Hate ;)

1st game: no. 2nd game...

YesEven though I still insist the game developer focuses too much on the aspects of gathering-creating (which, overall is a repetitive process, taking away from the “gaming” aspect. Can’t help but think the developer is wanting to capture the Minecraft/Terraria crowd, while not having the same experience as these platforms provide, resulting in a deficit of choice/experience/results...)The overall experience thus far (36.8 percent) has been an overwhelming improvement from the first installment. Not as straight forward, much Larger maps causes the player to go between maps to search the areas. It’s better, for sure. As of now, I’m sitting in a restaurant, biding my time with the game at 12:30 pm on my off day. LolHere’s my advice to the developer:Stop trying to make your own Minecraft/80s-90s Nintendo copy. Instead, take from Zelda... search, explore, push, find, puzzle, upgrade, challenge. Labor of love, if you’re interested

Update-my fault

I had posted a review earlier saying that I did not get an upgrade I had paid for. Turns out, I did get it just hadn't understood it. The developer sent me a note explaining it which I really appreciated! This really is a fun game and lasts awhile. So many of the games I buy are way too short. I am now playing the prequel to this. I hope you keep making more!

Great game but....

The newest update ads adverts when you transition into some rooms and areas. You can not avoid them and must watch between 5 and 30 seconds but the game continues while you are watching the commercial and when the commercial is over you might be dead because creature have been attacking you during the ad. Very inconvenient and needs to be changed.

Surprisingly Fun

I didn’t expect what this game would be, as I hadn’t play the first one. I didn’t have that high of expectations, but this game is very fun and addicting. Don’t hold the art style against this game though, I do very much appreciate the perfect pixel look as you guys nailed it. So far the story it straightforward and not very hard to understand, which I really like. The inventory management and crafting system is simple and no to complex. Also the quest are fairly good to, they make me want to see through till the end to see my reward, along with what the box has next for me to do. I really think everyone who loves games in general should give this a try.
