Invaluable Information for Gardeners
If you live in a cooler region (from the Pacific Northwest all the way to the Atlantic Northeast) this app will be a game changer in terms of laying out your garden. When we bought our property, I simply adopted the space that was already laid out for planting but I was not terribly successful because some items got too much sun and other things did not get enough sun. Imagine my surprises when I discovered this app existed!! Understanding where the longest exposure is, the hottest and the coolest etc I can plan out my vegetable locations to give the ones who need the most sun in the FULLL sun locations, and those that don’t require as much sun can fill in the sections that get less sun. Brilliant. Thank you to who ever made this tool available!!
Find the Sun
Helps with sunset photography. Scouting locations is a lot easier with this app when looking for a good sunrise and sunset. The app also will let you know where good light will be throughout the day into the evening for those perfect shots. Being a photographer, this app is really helpful.

Excellent for curiosity
The calculations appear correct and are placed on a tilting map in a way that easily helps the imagination and inspires you to want to learn more about the motions of the moon and planets in our nightly skies.
House hunting tool
I have use this app to help determine the sun’s path over houses I’m interested in purchasing. I’ve lived in the Phoenix with a western exposure once…never again. Sam
Good stuff. I wanted this.
The “holding up to the sky” to trigger the AR experience is a nice trick. The AR is a little choppier than I would have expected. This should be a pretty smooth experience given what’s being displayed. Doesn’t matter. Still solves the problem.

This app is fantastic for planning landscaping, gardens, and other solar applications, as well as "way-finding" in the wilderness. The solar/lunar arc overlay in AR is a little clunky, but move slowly and all is golden.
Great data on Sun and Moon
Easy to use and provides the most helpful data on finding and following the Sun and Moon. Not perfect but dang near! If the mythical app wish maker were to add Moon angle tables and Moon path diagrams I think it would be perfecto!! Still a 5 star program.
Sun Tracking Done well
Nice app. Clear, detailed, precise and simple display of the Sun’s track. A follow-up page with copious amounts of pertinent Track information. My opinion, I’d recommend it to others interested in Sun Tracking.
Incredibly useful
This is exactly what I was looking for. This app exceeded my expectations. What I like the most is how easy it is to use. Interface is very clean and responsive. Helps me better plan what trees I need to cut down to get better sun on my panels.

With this application you can see the location of the sun changing with the season. Point the device to the sky, this application will display the position of the sun over the camera image like the AR. You can also go to any places on GoogleMap and display the sun's trajectory in that place in 3D.
