Great App, one upgrade needed
Lots of other daily quote apps come across as trite especially if they have mostly unattributed quotes. This app showcases great thinkers in a beautiful and simple layout.One upgrade that would improve this app significantly would be a home screen widget for iOS.Highly recommend.
Epictetus only
I was looking for a Stoics app, this is just Epictetus quotes. Where’s Marcus Aurelius? There are a half dozen original Stoics to quote from but this app is nothing but Epictetus.
Great looking app, stopped working on the first day
Really nice lookin app. Very simple and easy to navigate. Worked for the first few times I opened it, but the next day it just got stuck on the splash screen and I haven’t been able to get it back. I’m on a regular iPhone 11 So just a heads up to the dev!
Good but…
Needs a random quote option so you don’t end up scrolling through Epictetus forever to get to Aurelius.

Pretty much just Epictetus
Just scrolling through the quotes will only show you Epictetus for some reason. The "daily thoughts" show others such as Marcus Aurelius though. I'm guessing it's just a simple mistake.
Needs more variety
This app is simple and easy to use. However, there needs to be more stoic quotes. Marcus Aurelius, Senica are missing. A widget or iOS 16 Lock Screen widget would be great.
Good concept but way oversimplified
App with great potential but lackluster in execution. Decent quotes from Epictetus but I have yet to see those from any of the other well known stoics, Seneca, Marcus Aurelius, and the others. The presentation is fairly pleasant but the app has proven nearly impossible to navigate. As far as I know, the app is dedicated exclusively to long, unpopular quotes from Epictetus. I’ve seen few quotes relating to the popular, central tenants of stoicism that make it such a compelling school of philosophy. Perhaps the authors are alphabetized? But they should be randomized.

Hello developer... What happened, it’s stopped working?Update. I reached out to the developer regarding my problem with the app. Turns out all I needed to do was delete the app and reinstall it and everything is now great. I recommend this app. Displays nicely and good stoic thoughts.
