Doctor Day and your team are to be commended. Of all the astronomer centric apps currently available this is one of the best apps I have used to date. The A-R function is a great tool either at the “scope” or by itself as an aid to what I currently see with my own eyes. Awesome and informative

Unlike other free apps out there on the solar system , Stellar Tour delivers on both the 3D graphics aspect as well as the information content. My favorite aspect of the app is the style of the educational text. Instead of boring me with dry facts, I feel like I am transported to the surface of each moon and planet.

Truly Amazing App for Astronomy fans!

If you have a curiosity or already love Astronomy I couldn’t recommend this app more. It’s so detailed and well made. The animations are so smooth. And as you move your phone around the sky it’s so awesome to see in real time the things our eyes just don’t catch. The developer helped improve the app with the kindness and professionalism that you wished every app developer had. Cheers to you Aaron, you have such a gift as an artist. I just realized that there are a multitude of planets that are habitable with photos and explanations of each one. So many that are similar to our world there is life there in outer regions. Whoever invented this app thanks so very much. I am learning something new and different and will definitely be visiting this app everyday to learn more about the universe.

Excellent

This is an excellent product in so many ways. I’ve tried it out on a friends iPad a few nights before I decided to get it myself. A great teaching aid for my grandson who at 8 years of age loves star gazing and dinosaurs. The only negative thing that I feel should be addressed is the font used to identify the objects in the sky. The thin stroke serif face is hard for older eyes to see and is most frustrating to me. Perhaps a thicker stroke San serif face that can be dimmed if need be.

For Space Lovers

Very cool and informative. The app features a 3D interactive map of the solar system that is both user-friendly and fun. It also contains many pictures and educational material about each planet. Both the casual space enthusiast and the hardcore space nerd will find something to love about this app---or really anyone that has ever gazed into the night sky with a sense of curiosity or wonder.

I would like to take this opportunity to express how I feel about this app. It is a very good app to use for learning all about the planets in our galaxy. The true location of the planets and the many stars throughout space are easy to find using the search function. I will be recommending this to all my friends. This app is amazing because you can get an in-depth look at planets in our own solar system AND exoplanets, which aren’t in a lot of other apps. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because you can’t zoom in much on the exoplanets, so it’s kind of hard to really get a good look. Otherwise it’s an amazing app and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys astronomy.

Great app but a few things could be added

Loved the app, but I think their are a few things that you could add. To start that off, you could add an intro, and the other thing that I want you to add is a feature that shows black holes. Again, love the app.
