I am so so glad they optimized SSO for mobile!

This game is super fun and I am very happy they have been adding more quests! Unfortunately, there are some mobile only bugs I have been noticing. Sometimes, when you get off of your horse, you do not have the joystick, you only have the horse controls. Normally, this would be ok, but you can not turn, so you can only move back and forth. This is potentially game breaking. If you are doing a quest, you would have to close the app and open it again, and risk losing some of your progress. I am also having network issues with racing, but this may be because of the increased user count that comes with accessibility Not only that, when I go into my stables, I can see other players, which I’m not sure if that is deliberate or not. On laptop, there are no other players in your stable.All in all, the game is super fun! If you plan to play past level three, you have to buy a star rider membership. This will get you some coins and an allowance to spend. I’d recommend buying lifetime if you plan to play often, as it is cheaper in the long run :)

Amazing 🤩 But…

Honestly I have been playing this game for years, and I am so excited it finally came for mobile. It has very few bugs for me but I did have a little trouble with the first Dark Core ship quest. To anyone out there who loves racing, horses, competitive games, social fun, caring for animals, and more, for sure get this game. It is annoying you have to pay to get past level 5, but it is so worth it. To the developers, you need to know the ship problem above, but more than anything you should know an amazing feature would be either being able to email gifts like what you get after a championship, or just giving the gift by clicking on the avatar, thx! Also, there should be some kind of dressage competition or daily race like in the riding arena with show jumping but just dressage. And there should be championships like with the races, but with show jumping. Thanks so much for reading and trying to make this game even better! Again, great game!

Great game!

Okay, IM OBSESSED with this game! I used to play it on my computer, which was VERY glitchy and annoying, but when I saw that it was on mobile I almost screamed. I am now obsessed with the game and I cannot stop playing😂😅 Also I’m glad that you all fixed the glitch were when you get off your horse, you still have the some controls because that was very annoying to try to play with. I saw many other reviews with people saying it’s lagging on mobile. But for me it works like a dream! I am having the glitch that when you walk into your stable, you see other people and sometimes their horses.. When that happens I just leave my stable and then walk back into it. Then it’s fixed. I’m glad it has an easy fix but it can still be kinda aggravating if you ask me. In all this is a GREAT game and I’m soooo glad that you all made it playable on mobile!❤️

Be kind and fair

So I rlly rlly love star stables you get to ride your horse, buy new ones, complete quests, hang out with friends, and explore new areas. My only complaint is that the only way to get star coins is to buy em, and that’s not fair, two reasons, one: It’s not fair bc you should allow ppl to earn star coins on there quests or In places that they have discovered, Two: it’s not fair to the ppl who can’t buy star coins, maybe don’t have enough money, or there parents won’t let them. Pls if you care abt ppl pls read this and find away to still get money for the game but also allow ppl to earn star coins if they can’t buy them. Other than that complaint, star stables is a rlly kid friendly game I would recommend downloading it bc it has lots of quests some are kinda easy others are challenging but it’s fun as long as you don’t give up. I gave it five cause I don’t wanna be one of those people 😂 but there are a few things -let’s start with the awesome things for people reading the reviews- this game is awesome!!! The graphics are amazing and you get to pick and customize yourself and your horse- and for parents who don’t like online games this game doesn’t ask for personal info! And it doesn’t allow chat unless your email is verified so it’s pretty safe if you ask me 😁! But it’s also really fun because it has lots of fun quests and more like different characters accessories! And I’m the game it has a list of names to put your horses name and your own together! The options for names are fantastic! Now for a few things not bad but could use a little fixer- you do get kicked out sometimes and also I think it should be made a little easier to type in the name of your friend so you can like join them or something or just make it easier to join your friends- because me and my sister struggled all day trying to get on the same server and sadly never did but it’s ok just asking for a little twist on that- over all LOVE THIS GAME!! ❤️

Well..

Don’t get me wrong, I love Star Stable. But.. I couldn’t play a lot, so I was very happy when I found out SSO was coming to mobile, and it looked like it took little to no storage space. I downloaded it, played, and oh boy, do I have things to talk about. The turns are not sharp at all, which bugs me because how can I train..? The turns are very wide and I have to slow down to a walk just to move properly like on PC. SSO literally fights with your battery as well, I played for maybe 30 minutes, my phone was on 77, after playing for that short amount of time, my phone was at 14. I have an older phone from 2016 so my battery is bad, but it’s never that bad. After the Equestrian Festival came out, the storage issue was so bad. I had to delete over 1,800 photos and over 130 videos just so I could play mobile while in the car on a road trip. Another thing I’ve noticed is my phone overheats so bad when I play SSO. Like I said, my phone is from 2016, the battery is messed up and it overheats a lot, but never this bad. It got so bad to the point I didn’t even want to touch my phone because it was so hot, and it took 25-ish minutes to cool down. I know you can’t fix the overheating issue, but the other things I feel like you can. SSO is a great game and this has nothing to do with SSO on PC- but if you have a PC, play SSO on the PC, it’s way better. SSO would be better mobile if you’re in the car and bored or just can’t use your PC.

Absolutely love this game! But a few suggestions…

First off, I’d like to say I love this game and I play it pretty much every day (that’s how fun it is!). A few things I’d like your team to consider is 1. Letting people be able to change there characters name. This is a huge one for me because when I first started playing this game, I guess I forgot to pick a name that I wanted (and that’s my fault) so the game just gave me a random name and it turns out when I actually figured out what my name was it was a name that I absolutely HATED so I tried to find a way to change it. And it turns out, you can’t change your name. Which was very disappointing, so I’d ABSOLUTELY LOVE if you could have the option to change your name. It could cost star coins, I don’t care. Just PLEASE give us the option to change our names. That would be amazing and greatly appreciated by me, and probably a ton of other people who play SSO. 2. More ways to get star coins. Just putting it out there, but maybe you could include some star coins in quests as a reward, or maybe you could get some sc from doing daily chores at different stables. That would be absolutely incredible if you could, so please take it into consideration. THANK YOU SO MUCH SSO TEAM FOR EVERYTHING YOU DO!

Amazing but tricky on mobile

I am a Star Stable player who has been playing since 2013 and I love it. My parents bought me lifetime star rider years ago. I am so happy they did because even though I may go months without playing because I’m not a busy adult, I love coming back to it. Anyways, I am super thrilled to have it on mobile now because it makes it so much easier for a busy person like me to just check in and play for a few minutes. One of the biggest things that I think would make it an even better experience on mobile is if you could change the size of the buttons. Specifically if you had the option to make the buttons for going left and right a little bigger. The biggest problem I have run into on mobile is the directional buttons are too small. I constantly find myself going to click them, but then my finger misses which can mess up an entire race and make it so I have to start over.

A bit buggy

I absolutely love playing on mobile! It helps me be more active when I travel. I’ve just run into several issues. For one, it’s often hard to change horses, as when I dismount, the controls go from the joystick to the horse control options and I can’t move. I can press return to entrance to remount, but the issue often is skew several tries to fix. It’s quite annoying. Another bug is that I can often run at a gallop in my stables. I also wish that you could check the championship schedule from the drop down bar with all the settings and such, but instead I need to go to a race board and check there, it’s a minor inconvenience, but annoying. You also can’t see the messages that say “Firgrove Championship starts in 15 minutes” so it’s hard to keep track of time. It would also be cool if you could adjust the arrow size bigger or smaller, I often miss the buttons.Those issues aside, the game runs flawlessly on my phone! Although it does heat up, but that’s expected. It’s such a joy to play on my phone or tablet, although it’s easier to play on computer in my opinion.

Best game I’ve ever played

So a while ago, my gramma (who plays star stable quite a bit) made me an account with a lifetime membership for me to use later. I was upset that I wouldn’t be able to use it since I didn’t have access to a home computer. That changed when this was created. Now I’m playing this game frequently, having lots of fun and enjoying the beautiful graphics and animations in the game. Great job, Star Stable! You guys are amazing people for doing this, and I can’t wait to see what updates lie in the future!However, I did encounter an issue. On my mobile screen, the buy horse menu is too large to fit on the screen, so the buy button is in a place where I cannot click it. This has been a big setback for me, but thankfully my gramma has been able to help by letting me use her computer. But please fix this, it’s annoying and it would be amazing if it was fixed!
