Love, but…

I really wish there was a pause button or vacation mode or something like that… I don’t want a list of things to do EVERY day…. most days, but not EVERY day. Like weekends or if I take a day out with the kids, but the to-do list keeps racking up things regardless. So if I go on vacation for a week, I’m going to come home to 60+ things on my to do list that are past due and that’s overwhelming. Or if I’m not feeling well one day. The app should have a “Rest Day” function or something so you don’t feel like you have to pay for it the rest of the week trying to play catch up. For example, the day I purchased the app, it took a while to set up—adding rooms and thinking of all the different cleaning jobs I like to do in each area and the frequency of them. Well, as I’m setting it up, it’s slowly adding things to my to do list for THAT VERY DAY, but I couldn’t set up the app, take care of the kiddos, AND do a full day’s worth of chores late in the day. So the next day, I had double the amount of things to do and I’m still trying to play catch up. I appreciate the simplicity, but it’s not super realistic for me to be on the ball every single day of my life. A girl needs a day off. A simple rest feature—or something like that—would do wonders. Please please add….

No notifications?

I love the concept and the ease of this app. However, like others have stated, I don’t really understand the point of an app that keeps your chores organized but doesn’t remind you when to do them... I have also noticed the little progress bars are inaccurate and misleading - for example, something do today is only half full when it should be full because it has been a week (or whatever you choose) since the last time you did it. I also would love to see a calendar view or a way to organize the chores by due date. But mostly important, put notifications!!! And read these reviews and make changes :)

I love it

4.8 stars. I had seriously thought about making sheets to hang in each room that I would date each time I cleaned something. Like the ones in public restrooms, lol. This app works great. I only wish it could do push notifications to remind me to do things. You have to open the app to see your to do list. Which is great because I don’t feel like it is nagging at me, but I need a reminder to check it, lol. I’m going to try looking at it every Sunday when I do my weekly schedule, so I can add the to dos. So far when it’s cleaning time I open it and see what I need to do. Which actually has been working quite well.

So Good, and Almost There!!

I am so far loving this app, being able to keep track of each task in each room and marking them complete is exactly what my ADHD brain needs…. But I do feel like there is still room for improvement. Instead of marking the tasks to a specified time frame (I. E. every 3 days, every 1 week, etc) there should be an option to assign a task for a specific day of the week or multiple days of the week. And then the “Reminders” tab, I would like to assign a different time for each day, (I. E. Monday-Friday 6:00pm and Weekends at 10:00am) as a working mom throughout the week, I can’t get to all my tasks at a specific time everyday. If these were included into the app, this app would easily get 5 stars from me. I hope the creators makes some adjustments, because overall, I am thoroughly impressed on how simple the app is, and straight forward to the home tasks I need. No Dieting or Health included, just straight to the point of keeping my home maintained, and that’s all I was looking for. Thank you for this app!

Love this app but curious about 0.99 cost

I want to give this app 5 stars because it seriously works great for me. I’m a stay at home mom who likes to do a bit of cleaning every so often but I know I can’t do it every day. I check in on the app and knock off what is the most over due. It’s super simple and easy to use. I want to be able to add unlimited tasks and was about to pay the 0.99 for it... but I’m glad my instincts stopped me from just going for it. I saw a previous review that said they were being charged a monthly fee and is having trouble getting out of it.I can’t find any info on whether or not this is true... would love some kind of confirmation from the developer or clear statement on the screen to purchase. If it is a one time cost then this is definitely worth it and I can update this review for 5 stars.

Simple!

I wanted something very simple and sleek and this is it. I realize some want push notifications and I can see that as a great option, but I would actually prefer to not have them. My two wishes for this app are 1.) family sharing so that we are all looking at the same tasks and their status 2.) ability to assign tasks to those shared family members. It doesn’t allow you to assign a specific day to anything which could be cool for things like taking the trash to the road, but Alexa can remind me of that easy enough. Wouldn’t matter without notifications. Overall, I think this is a great! Especially for as dollar.

Changed my life

I usually live with this fuzzy cloud of things to do buzzing around me and don't know where to start, what needs cleaning the most, when I last did something. With this app- it's gone. I don't have to think about what I did or what I need to do, which usually makes me feel so overwhelmed that I do none of it. I. Don't. Worry. About. Cleaning. Anymore. It's amazing. Whenever chores pop into my head, I open the app and check my to-do list with the convenience of knowing that it's up-to-date and scheduled. Seriously, my life is so much better. Thank you! Side note: sometimes I think I want notifications, and sometimes I'm glad I don't have them. Notifications might stress me out, but the way it is now, I can just check when I have the time. I guess the option would be nice but I'm happy the way it is now. Definitely worth the .99 for me. Oh one last thing- it may be nice if I could have another option instead of areas, like errands, or something. I guess I could re-name an area "errands", though. I don't know. Also it may be nice to have a "to-do today" and "to do tomorrow" or something, or maybe even a calendar view so we can see which days we have the bigger chores coming up and then plan around it. Anyways, I love the app! Thanks!

Pretty good

I like this app, but I hate that it doesn’t show dates. I get that it’s meant to be very simple and minimalistic, but sometimes I just want to see the date that a certain task was accomplished. I was mostly using it for the jobs that are once a month or maybe every six weeks, but I don’t always remember exactly how long I set it for. Once the timer is out then you are just due for the task, you could be a day overdue or a week overdue, it doesn’t say. Also, if I forgot to record that I completed something, I would like to have the option to go in after the fact and put in that I completed it yesterday or last Tuesday or whatever. But over all it is easy to use and it has helped me stay organized.

LOVE

It’s so simple and easy to use. I had been searching for days for a simple, good cleaning app that would help me with a cleaning schedule. I get so overwhelmed trying to clean house all in one day and finally found a schedule that worked for me, but I wanted a way to keep it all organized. This app is perfect for that. Like I said before, it’s so simple and easy to use. The programmed areas and tasks are so helpful, but I love being able to rename areas and add my own tasks. Best $2 I’ve ever spent to get the unlimited tasks. I sat down Saturday and created my tasks and schedule for the week and today was my first day using it and I am super satisfied so far!

Suggestions

First of all, I have to say I really do LOVE this app. I’m a stay-at-home-mom of 2 and household chores always have seemed to slip through the cracks….then I become so overwhelmed by everything that needs to be done that I don’t know where to start. But because of this anxiety, I keep putting things off and then it gets so bad that I give up and let the mess pile up. Because of this app, I have been able to FINALLY (first time ever?) get the entire house where I want it to be and have it stay that way! I ended up buying the full version of this app and have zero regrets because I use it all day long to keep me on task.Just a few suggestions that would make me love it even more: 1. It would be nice to see upcoming tasks in a list rather than having to check each individual room to see what will be on my plate tomorrow. 2. A calendar view of what was done/what is coming up. 3. A way to go back when setting up a task (like when you’re selecting the “how clean is it now,” be able to go back to edit task name and frequency). 4. A way to push something off or “snooze” a task for X number of days rather than have it sit in your to-do list and be past due.
