Update for contractions please

Looks like a great app, but our first spelling list included contractions which apparently don’t work for this app.

Great for homeschoolers!

Tried 2 other spelling apps for our son. We finally found 1 our son learned his spelling words with. This is a great app and since I can put in our own words I see us using this app for years.

Great app for kids!!!

My kids LOVE using this app to practice their spelling each week. My younger daughter's spelling tests have improved she spends double if not triple the time practicing. I love it. I will definitely be buying the paid version. Thank you Spelling Monster for such a great app. BTW love the new updates.

Great app, but is there any way to hear the word that they are working on?

This is the best app that I have found for spelling. The only problem is my daughter doesn’t know what the word she is working on is. If she could push the word and hear what is was it would make this app perfect!

I wanted a spelling test app that also had games. This “free” app lets you put in words but if you games you need to pay for the app. At least they could show a sample of the games before they ask for money. Then they don’t even direct you to the paid version. Badly developed. Needs work

Makes spelling fun

I use this as a part of out homeschool curriculum to do both spelling and phonics. I make word lists using word families and sight words, and my kids seem to really enjoy it. The older kids can even make their own word lists if they want to.

So far...

It's the best app we have found to what I was looking for... entertaining games, I can add my own words. The only thing missing it's the words are not pronounced.

Great game

This is a wonderful game for kids to learn something new. I am about to purchase the $1.99 upgrade because my kids can't get enough of it. Thank you, for such a great game!

Needs some work

Not a good app due to the fact everything is uppercase and you are unable to change this setting. Defeats the purpose.
