Really good, best app out there.

I use this app to check hotels internet connections. They all say they have fast internet but 95% actually don't and definitely don't have stable internet connections. Typically you'll find they have 5mbs or less and if you watch the needle it'll jump all over the place.

Perfect app for wifi test.

For all the idiots out there who are scared because of the location perms let me explain. In order for them to connect you to the closest server to test your bandwidth, they need to know where your device is located. Is that clear? Works great for what it meant to do and that's what important. Btw if you paid for 100mg download and it shows up as 80/not 100 it's completely normal, companies cannot guarantee exactly what you paid for since the servers and stations cannot be always close to you.

my internet speed check

I have used, made router adjustments based on results and tracked my local ISP with Speed Test, since before it was an app, and you had to use it from their web page. This app is accurate, gives you options to test from, and best of all is not run or bought by your cable provider, so results are real, not paid for!

speed test IOS

Does what it says. Quite accurate, I'm in a pretty net neutral country (Australia) so get 30mbs, which is what I pay for. Regionally this is handy with our 'NBN Rollout' people are getting scammed into paying more for less, so if you do get good speeds show this to your housemate, salesman or ISP trying to get you on to the more expensive 25mbs nbn plan.

Very effective and detailed.

Helps me deal with cast. I have no real choice in my Internet provider, and often my Xfinity connection drops or gets seriously throttled. I run a quick test with the app and then call Xfinity's Customer support. After a bit of techno babble I check again. The connection is always better. Thank you, Speedtest, for making my life better!

Nice, quick, simple, helpful..

I've been a fan of Speedtest for many many years on both the website and app. I've tested it against others and it's never let me down. I recently purchased an Ethernet to usb type C device and figured let me test my three wireless routers across my house to find out I had a major lose of speed after my first router and after swapping out the cat5 cable boom perfect performance across all three routers.

Very useful tool, a must have

Yup...I had the installer here and I needed to measure the internet before he left. Talked on the store and scroll down a little bit found this one app, out of others because there aren't too many that are just on the dot. His equipment and this app read exactly the same for the speed test upload and download!

best internet speed test app on iphone

This apps ads are very very annoying. But it is an incredibly useful wifi tool. After a month of dealing with the ads, I finally paid the one time fee. It's fairly expensive, but very worth it. I have used many wifi apps and this is by far the most feature rich and helpful one.

fast and easy to use

This app (or their website) are the best way to get an unbiased measurement of your internet speed. Seems to provide an accurate reading for both download and upload and it is better to use something that is not provided by your isp since it will often be directly connected to their servers which limits the distance the test is covering.
