I know the basics on how to use an abacus, but the app isn’t allowing me to answer the second problem.
It’s like if someone gave you an abacus and said “go.”
I love this app but I wold like it to contain training for the abacus other then that I could say it’s all you need.
At the end of set, I would like to see the sum, or difference, or quotient, or product of that set of numbers or at least give me a few seconds to see my answer on the abacus before the “next or back” screen appears. Other than that, I enjoy practicing with this Soroban abacus.
I just started learning how to use a soroban this week.If you're looking for a soroban training app, this is the one. Your training is very customizable for your own needs (several different practice options and difficulties are provided), and a record of your times and your best time are recorded, along with the time and date.If you own your own soroban, this is still a great app; in the options you can change the mode to practice with a real soroban (it simply displays the problem, and when you are done you can check your answer). The ads aren't too intrusive, especially for an app as well designed as this one: there are banner ads and the occasional pop-up ad. I myself purchased the ad removal to support the developer despite the ads not being excessive.Bottom line: Although I am very new to the soroban, I can't see myself needing anything other than this app to practice.
This app is the absolute best for Soroban training. Extremely responsive and snappy. With a modern UI. The creator is also an extremely nice, professional, dependable and polite person. Overall this is one of the best apps I have used and great all around.
This is an application that allows you to play the abacus. There is also a function to just create problems, so you can use it to practice the actual abacus.
