A great companion app to the physical sets

I recently ordered my first Snap Ship (The Gladius) and immediately wanted more. The first step was downloading this app and seeing what it offered. Overall the app is great. The AR works good and gives you a nice visual of potential builds before you put the time into making them. The auto-flight game is what takes the fifth star away. At times, it’s extremely easy when you have a ship with missile launchers and cannons that doesn’t need the pilot to line up your shot. If your weapons do depend on your pilot lining up shots, it becomes annoying watching them sometimes work, and sometimes spend the entire level never lining up. My favorite part is the hanger where you can see different possible builds involving one or more sets being put together. My only wish is a filter to only show builds you have the parts to. So if you only have a Gladius and a Saber, it will only show alt builds using those sets. Overall it’s a great app to use with Snap Ships sets and overall a generally good app without the physical sets.

Snap Ships App.

This is an awesome AR game. It’s very realistic in my book and you can only improve on it more. Can’t wait to see the new updates and improvements to this already great game. Please keep it totally free!!!!! This is truly a 10 star AR game. I play this game all the time and never get bored. That is a great testament to the creators of this game. I can only give this game a five star rating which is the highest, but again, it’s a 10 star in my book!!! Great Job!!!!!!!

Awesome AR and instructions

Wow! This is a really awesome app. I thought it was just going to be instructions for how to build the toy, but it’s got a really amazing AR mode as well as a whole game inside. The instructions are super clear, and the animations snapping all the pieces together are satisfying. It’s sort of like the Nintendo labo interactive instructions. The AR mode works without a hitch and is a great way for kids to see their ships do awesome stuff like shooting lasers and flying around. It would be super awesome if you could somehow scan the toy itself and it could detect the custom ship you built, and then build that ship in 3D to play around with, but even without that this is way more in-depth and polished than expected.

Amazing

This app is so cool. The Augmented Reality is also cool and how you can shoot the weapons in AR. The missions are also a cool addition. Another really awesome thing is the hangar were you can see other builds that you can build as well and some of them I gotta say are way cool. And finally I like how you can also check off the builds you already have. Update. Can you make something where you can make a build then like post it on the app. And scan your custom ships

Amazing companion app

This app is a great companion for young and old to use when building with SnapShips. Not only does it include a wide variety of instructions for alternate builds you can’t find anywhere else, but it’s AR and mini-game modes are chocked full of details and world building to really immerse in the world of SnapShips. The 3D movable builds in app also let you fully rotate, assemble, and disassemble ships for easy building and to show off some unique and creative techniques to build ships that can inspire your own builds to the next level.

Amazing app and I have some ideas...

I love this app and it’s given me a lot of inspiration but I have some suggestions: use good builds from Instagram to use as transmissions I don’t know if I’m not getting transmissions but it would be nice if you added more fore people who don’t have access to Instagram of Facebook also it would be nice If you could build your own ships and post the online at a place where everybody can look.

Great Companion to Snap Ships Play

Not only do you get fully-animated rotatable instructions on standard builds, but you get them for fan-built customs as well. Seeing the ships come to life pew pew action is very cool. There’s a VR function where you can place ships in and interact with your virtual space through your device’s camera.Looking forward to having the new Wave 3 ships added to the app.

Cool use of AR

This is a fun app where you get to build and play with a variety of diff’t spaceships. Apparently there is a toy line that interacts with this as well (which I do not have). The graphics especially those for the ships look great. My favorite part of the app is the AR mode where you get to interact with your ships in the same room as you. I only wish that I could do more in AR, like have my ships blow up my living room. Maybe next time.

THERE IS NO GAME

wheres the gameplay? 90% of it is on autopilot. the only thing you do is fire at dead space with a few enemies that you will never hit unless you have missiles and a small time limit. I actually thought you scanned the toy like you would with amiibo's or the cards that came with the 3DS. Nope, the AR is cool i guess but its pretty pointless, testing the 3D model is neat but still no point as its extremely limited, most likely why nintendo stopped making cards cause theres very littleEntertainment of this feature. I played games with far better gameplay and challenge, although too difficult, but this poor excuse of a game makes no sense.

Love this!

The app is great! I love the AR, and I would also love for everyone to be able to scan their own creations to add into the app so that everyone can enjoy what someone else has built and expand their fleets. And I would be even happier if there was a flight mode for the ground vehicles, like on a moon or planet surface. Same as the ships that fly, but with the land/ground vehicles too.
