Did not blocked any number

Not sure why this app didn’t worked on the iPhone. Setup correctly and enabled. Calls keep coming, silenced as before. It did not show any calls as counted. Is there a bug in it? It would be nice if it worked. The only app I found that may be the best.... if it works. I’ll change my rating if this actually works as described. Please fix it. I’d offer $10 for a working app. 😀

Exactly what I wanted

Well, almost. This just blocks calls. I have not blocked many callers, but it stops the nuisance spam calls I used to get every day. One improvement would a report of the number of times a given number is blocked.No fees, no ads, no hassles. This is what an app should be and a real service. Thanks.

Suggestions

It seems to work fairly well as a simple black/white list. Blocked calls go straight to VM which is perfect. The blocked calls do not show up in call history and they don’t trigger a missed call notification so you never get a “red dot” for missed calls. This seems like a flaw to me and it would be better if the missed calls were still visible. Ideally this could be a toggled behavior to allow user choice. A “block all unknown” (default deny) would be a nice feature but I would not enable that unless I could see the blocked calls. It would be nice to be able to add numbered to the black/white list from the iPhone “Phone” app but that integration might be complicated or possibly not permitted.

Perfect

This app is perfect thank you so much for making something like this and not trying to charge people monthly subscriptions like most of these companies do. They’re scammers themselves. For anyone looking, this is perfect for the “neighbors” scam in which scammers call you from a similar number to your own, you can simply block all numbers that look just like your own.

Almost perfect

The app seems to be working fine, subjectively it seems that the number of spam calls from a particular number range (similar to my own number) has been decreased or even gone. However, there is no history log to see what calls were blocked and when. So I am not 100% sure whether it is the app blocking spam calls or they just call me less often.

Need to block more numbers

The app itself is straightforward and easy to use. I applaud the developer who has developed such a wonderful app. However, it appeared that the app can only block 1,999,999 numbers at maximum. The blocklist cannot be loaded correctly when there are 2,000,000 blocked numbers. I found online that the max supposed block list from IOS is about 50,000,000? So maybe we can increase the capacity of the blocklist x25? Otherwise the app is perfect!

Still my GOTO call blocker

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Since scammers are inherently lazy individuals, I tend to get calls in repetition from similar numbers. This app is AWESOME at blocking those numbers. I just set it to block the numbers from those unknown tiny towns that call multiple times a day, day after day, and problem solved. I’m not really fluent in REGEX but have learned enough to make this app virtually endless in its blocking capabilities. If you’re getting a slew of calls from “right to information miners” this is the app to block them! I can’t thank the developer enough for this app! You do have to read the directions thoroughly in order to receive its full capabilities, but it’s not brain surgery. Just read the directions a couple times and then program in the annoyance numbers as they come in. This is DEFINITELY THE CURE for D-bag callers. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Free range block

Just what I needed: Simple, free, anonymous blacklist range with whitelist overlay. Blocking spammers from my mobile’s exchange while allowing my family (also in that exchange) past the block. Requires no registration and no access to contacts (unless you wish), appears to be a simple app provided free for public service. Thanks!

Can't turn blocking on or off

A positive feature of this app is that you can have a blocked list or an unblock list. BUT, this app gives a status page of whether blocking is on but does not allow you to turn the blocking on or off. Some of these apps of this nature allow you to delete the app but don't stop the features of what the app was doing when you delete it. It also importantly does not give you a choice to unblock unknown callers. In some cases it's OK to get unknown calls and important to get those when it's police etc. calling. More control needs to be given to the user to be able to turn the app on or off completely. So far I have been looking extensively and there is not a way to turn this app on or off. Please change this and make it more user control involved.

Unique Outstanding Design Idea!

Well Folks! I would like to sit down a second and talk about this App. I could start out by saying it is a nice App, but that wouldn’t be correct! You see it’s a unique app that the Developer has put a great deal of time hard work and I believe a little bit of Himself in coding this software for you myself and our family. I would like to call it love that He has to protect you myself and our family from people who invented the words Scam Fraud and Telemarketer’s who now make it unsafe to simply answer our phone! It has come to the point where we have to Block our phone from ringing from bad phone numbers from crooked people and Companies that try to steal money and our identity from you myself and our family! This Developer’s App Does that! The Name of the App is simple, but the protection it gives and does is not! If you have taken the time to read this from your busy time of your life I hope you will download this app! Give it a try really take the time and let the Developer’s app start to protect you and your family! Don’t believe you will be sorry! Simple Call Blocker is a utility that lets you block unwanted calls to your iPhone. It allows you to block individual numbers, or ranges of numbers. You may also add individual numbers or ranges of numbers to the Allow List, so that they will not be blocked by this app, even if they are in the Block List.

Optionally, you may also allow all of your phone's contacts. ## Does the app contain a list of known phone spammers to block? No. Simple Call Blocker does not provide or maintain a known spammers blacklist. There are several other iOS call blockers that do, which you can use for free, if that feature is important to you. You may use Simple Call Blocker in conjunction with one of those other apps to blacklist additional numbers. ## Why would I use this app? Three reasons: 1. Simple Call Blocker allows you to block a range of phone numbers, to help prevent “neighbor spam”, for free. Other apps may let you blacklist individual phone numbers, but require an in-app purchase or paid subscription to block ranges of numbers. 2. Simple Call Blocker does not collect your personal information. You do not need to provide it access to your contacts unless you wish to enable the “allow all contacts” option. In contrast, some call blockers require a subscription or even a login to their web service in order to work. 3. Simple Call Blocker is designed to be very simple and reliable.
