A solid choice

As a collector for almost 40 years now, Shortboxed has become one of my favorite apps to preview and buy comics. Graded comics takes the guesswork out of the condition and let’s you have piece of mind that what you are buying is as advertised. There’s a best offer and buy it now feature and all prices are fixed on shipping. Plus there’s new inventory all the time. The system is easy to navigate and the zoom feature is a must have for getting in close to look at the conditions. Give it a try!

A better comic buying and selling platform

I’m an active comic collector, I buy and sell comics on a regular basis. I’ve used almost all the online platforms for this hobby, from eBay to Craigslist, from Facebook Marketplace to Instagram. Those platforms are all generic in that they were made to sell anything.Shortboxed is different. Shortboxed is better. It was developed by comic collectors for comic collectors. Their passion shows in the details. The app is a pleasure to use. It’s clean, intuitive and convenient. There are filters to help you find what your are looking for. They have a “Make an Offer” option. There are great original content in the form of articles and also collector spotlight interviews. Did I mention the Deal of the Day feature? Yeah, even bargain hunters can score amazing deals in graded books via the Deal of the Day.Buying is a breeze. And selling is pretty simple too. I’ve done both on the app. It’s the most enjoyable and trustworthy comic buying and selling platform I have used. What I love the most though, is the sense of community that they are building. Comic collectors share a “magnificent obsession”. The Shortboxed app understands this and delivers a magnificent experience. I look forward to seeing how the app will grow over time.-OhManComics

Game Changing for Online Comic Book Shopping

This app is so easy to use and navigate. The UI is simple and browsing feels intuitive. Each item description cuts right to the chase: minor, major keys, etc.. I had a couple of problems with my first few offers, but the Shortboxed tech support team was responsive and helpful. The ‘Make an Offer’ feature uses the best aspects of online auctions and removes the stress of losing an item to another bidder in the closing seconds. They also have a good inventory with books being added daily. I recommend this to any level of comic book enthusiast looking to buy slabs.

An easy buying experience

I’ve been purchasing comics from online retailers for decades and I find Shortboxed offers the most consistently reliable service with the quality of their comics listings (there are tons of ways to search for comics and there’s loads of info on the book) and shipping standards. I have always received my orders packaged safely and secure. The app also offers some interviews and articles by collectors, offer tips for collecting, and also some comic news. I definitely recommend checking out Shortboxed, I’m sure you’ll find a comic you’ve been looking for and at a great price.

Buying is a breeze

I’ve bought several books now through the app and only had one issue, which was the seller being on vacation so they couldn’t ship right away (they’ve since updated the app to allow for the seller to “pause” the book if the they’re not available). Buying is very simple and straightforward. All the books I’ve received have been packed well and shipped priority, so quick and with tracking (no media mail). Will try the selling option at some point, but so far I’ve enjoyed the buying experience. They also continue to update the app and add features, like the seller vacation mode, CGC census info, better search, etc.

Great app!

So far I’ve tried to buy and sell on eBay and just about any site as a beginner with some research done being very careful and so far this app has helped me get the best possible deals for the comics I am trying to obtain. I also have been successful in securing certain comics which I thought would be very difficult to obtain. Still gives your that feeling of searching and finding a good deal like u would at your local comic book store but with the reliability you would come to expect with modern tech and data capabilities. Thanks for making comic book shopping fun for me again!Jay

Excellent platform

This is by far one of the best platforms to buy and sell graded comic books. The app keeps getting better with the recent improvements with adding data for both the buyer and sellers to make informed decisions. With FMV of books, recent sales, to sending custom offers for books. I like being able only to having to do a few small things from a selling perspective with taking a picture, price and ship once sold. Then from a buyer perspective if you buy a bigger book over a certain amount of money you get quality assurance from the company as the book is verified by them to ensure it's legit. Another positive is they actually verify and make sure that people selling on the platform are good sellers. So you can trust that the book you purchase is 100% legit. If the app eventually does raw books it will be a game changer for selling comics. Keep up the great work.

Best Option For Comics

I had heard a lot about shortboxed but never gave it much thought and stuck with EBay or other routes until a couple months ago. My only complaint since downloading the app is that I didn’t do it sooner. Setting up an account was super easy, posting books to sell is literally 2 pictures and a price, the selection of books is incredible and easy to filter through. My other really positive experience was with the employees of shortboxed. When I created a sellers account someone reached out and asked if I had questions or needed any help. They’ve always been very quick responses if I have questions and thorough with their responses. The update has also been awesome so what are you waiting for!

The best way to buy and sell comics

As a buyer and a seller I can that this the best app out there for comic books, making offers is super easy and very forgiving. There’s no pressure to buy something just cause you made an offer which is nice in those just in case situations. Selling is amazing, just take the pictures of your graded books and boom that’s it! It’s seriously that easy, they even make it easy when you get offers cause you can counter and accept very easy and they even take out the hassle of having to purchase a shipping label so buying the wrong label to ship your book does not happen. It’s just super easy and it has room to grow and get better and better! Try it and you’ll love it if your fan of comics or wanting to just buy some cool stuff.
