This game literally bullies you.
Ok so this game is fun but there is a big problem to start out with. Its designed to make you lose. IT BULLIES YOU. Right after you place a block, for example over 16. It automatically gives you another 16 but you cant reach the 16 since you just placed something over it. It literally happens every time and the only way I can prevent it is to place the block over a really large block like 128 or larger. Obviously those large blocks are buried and if not you only have about 2 tries to not let the game abuse you. And whats even more annoying is you only have 4 columns. There should be 6. Theres extra space on each side so whats the point of not letting us use an extra 2 rows? The ads are a big problem as well. In the middle of a game, a 30 second long ad pops up. Couldn't you let us finish the game THEN give us an ad? At least you can skip the in-game ads. I saw some people say that the ads are inappropriate, but thats not true. You can turn on some button in settings that prevents inappropriate ads, so its your problem if you get those. The game is well made, but please make it easier to play. I’m going to take a peek once in a while, but my finger just might slip over the delete button if the devs don’t do something about this.

I love the game it’s very fun and addictive I just wish that as the number got higher, for example, when I get the 8000 block, that it stops giving you 2s and 4s because you run out of space.Also I see a lot of comments about the ads but honestly they’re not that bad I can exit out of all my ads and only pops up between games which is fine because the game can last 30 minutes or more if you’re good and they will pop up when you score 2000 and 4000 but it’s honestly a relief because that will pause the game and gives you a minute to look up

I was playing this game and yes the ads were super annoying. They are very long and you can’t exit out and even with absolutely no internet connection (LTE or otherwise) they still show up. Bummer. But I can get past a lot of that if it were not for the fact that one of the ads was STRAIGHT UP PORN. Here I am playing a simple numbers game at work and suddenly BAM! Full on nudity with sound and everything. And here’s the thing, it started out as a pretty harmless ad (On what I don’t remember Because honestly who cares) and then a few seconds in I’m hit with some pretty disgusting images. And I couldn’t close it! So I quickly exit the game and delete because no game is worth that. #sorrynotsorry. I would also like to point out that this game is ages 4+ which means any child can download this (or ask a parent to who would probably say yes since it seems like a pretty straightforward and harmless game). I’m not a parent but this still concerns me.
Game not paused when ads play
I paused before pressing one star because I wanted to be fair. Is it really fair to complain for a free game when not willing to spend three bucks? Upon consideration: Yes. Two ways to pay for a game: money or attention to ads. These guys have ads at every achievement level or at startup. So far so good. The bad part is that ads play but game is not stopped often. So, say you are really close to a personal record. An ad interrupts the game. You find out to your dismay that you have to start another game. Because as the ad was playing, the game was not stopped and you hit the wall. Developers: don’t be greedy. Lessen the frequency of the ads. Reward even us frugal players for the good download and eyeball metrics we contribute. That has to be worth some money equivalent to you. This way your good work is enjoyed by all.
Great game
This is a great puzzle game. Well worth the 3 bucks to get rid of the ads. Game play is fantastic. Please, please, please . . . On the puzzle levels. . Add an option to turn OFF the shooting guide. It’s so annoying that the gameplay is so different between levels and free play. Overall, a great game.Addition: when you pause the game it asks continue or try again. I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve accidentally hit try again. It needs to ask a second time if you want to cancel your current game.
Download to watch ads more than play
I understand that when using a free app that you will have to watch ads. However, the amount of ads playing make it so that you spend more time watching advertisements than playing. This is ridiculous. Example: While playing if you divert to a different app, such as read a text for a second, the app makes you watch an ad (usually 30 seconds long). This is the case EVERY time. Then when you run out of room in game, they make you watch an app to continue (this is normal and I feel acceptable). After watching the ad, you play more and then die. Ad plays after this even though you just watched an ad 10 seconds or less ago. Now that you are on the menu page another ad plays when you start another game. SUMMARY: You play maybe 5 mins while watching about 3 mins of ads. That ratio is ridiculous!
Ads you can’t get out of.
I just downloaded this game and before I even started playing an ad popped up for turbo tax but I couldn’t find the x or the countdown that told me how much longer I had to watch this single page ad before being able to X out. So instead I closed the app and tried again this time a regular ad played and I was able to exit out of it after it finished playing. I finally got to play the game. I played and enjoyed but then I died after a little while as the game goes. So I went to play again since I enjoy this game and want to play it but the turbo tax ad without the X or the countdown came one again so I waited a little to see if it would show up. After about a minute of waiting I closed out of the app to try again in hopes of another ad that actually worked would show up. It was the turbo tax ad again so I tried again and again and again. Same turbo tax ad so now I’ve downloaded this game but only got to play once because now I’m in an endless cycle of not being able to exit out of an ad to play. This needs to be fixed right away or people won’t be able to play your game.
The advertisements ruin the game
The adverts are impossible to exit out of unless you find a magic spot, even if you don’t want to watch the ad to continue the game you’re going to get one after it regardless. The gameplay is 2048 but on. Timer so it requires some thinking. The game offers a level mode purchase but the ads make it impossible for me to play the game let alone support it. The game just feels like a developer trying to make a quick influx of money as fast as possible. The gameplay has been done before but it makes its money by getting a user to click on the ad or watch one of the other copious amounts of advertising. Overall gameplay is a big advertisement with a break to play a rehashed version of another game.
Good game but......
First of all this game has major potential to be addicting. However, the amount and length of ads you have to endure after pausing or dying is ridiculous. Also if you leave the game for any amount of time you have to watch an ad right off and the. You can’t resume your previous game as it ends it. VERY FRUSTRATING when you have a high score and have to start all over again. The frequency of the gold coins is pathetic as well. If you want people to keep playing this game you should make the ad situation better. Also sometimes I get an ad for turbo tax that never goes away or produces an X to close. The only way is to close the app on my phone and go back in and then I have to start all over again. Please fix it!
Fun and addicting
For the most part, this game is a lot of fun, and a great twist on the 2048 genre. I’ve been playing it for the better part of a year now, and I’m not bored of it yet. For the ppl who are complaining about the ads, I thought it was frustrating too, until I just decided to cough up the 3 bucks for no ads. It makes the gameplay so much smoother without the interruptions. It’s a small price to pay for hours of fun and supports the developer. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is this latest update has been causing the game to crash. Hoping the developer sees this review so I can get back to killing lvls. Trying to beat my record of 1.4m pts, but hard to do if game is crashing
