Works well enough for small files, but breaks and errors out for anything large. I have a number of 80+ MB files that simply don’t work at all.
This app does exactly what it's supposed to about how you would expect, with minimal hassle.
Works really great! But I would really really love to be able to authenticate with my server with public key authentication instead of a password.
Useless
this is awesome. only thing I can't figure out is, when I try and SAVE a file from the internet directly to my server, the SFTP logo is grayed out?? I can save and open locally but I am unable to download to it. Is this a bug or?
For something that specializes in only one protocol, it’s very slow. It’s very immature as well. Such as suggesting that I’m connecting to port “22,222”.Edit:No, your app is very slow. Other apps that support SFTP and other protocols are multiple times faster then your app. All on the same devices, and all with the same configuration.
Just adding the server configuration would add it to the file app. Very easy to use and helpful.
Use SFTP to access files and folders in the cloud or on the home network, served by the SSH/Secure File Transfer Protocol. SFTP provides the connection, making the remote files available for the rest of the phone: for all apps that are using the standard iOS file selector, including the Files app itself. After installing SFTP, open the app, and add your remote servers.
