Scam
The same exact thing happened as the person below me. I downloaded the app and accidentally purchased something because it tricks you into buying something as soon as you open the app for the first time. It doesn’t allow you to adjust the size of reposts in stories, which is the only reason I downloaded the app in the first place. Now I have to dispute the charge for something I never even wanted! Beware!! 😡
Help?
I can’t seem to figure out how to use it on my other account? It worked fine with one account then I tried switching and now it will not let me do anything on my second account so... is someone can figure it out or help me out or just the app needs to fix that than I’ll do another review.
Misleading about cost
I really wish apps would start advertising how much they cost before trying— subscription rates, premium rates, et cetera. Nowhere in the app description on the app store does this app explain that a $1.99 payment is required to use any features of the app. Transparency is always the best policy, developers. Otherwise, it works passably at reposting to Instagram, albeit not totally intuitively.
Terrible and tricky
Duped me into paying money for trying to repost what I thought was a free Instagram app. Should have been more careful but this wasn’t specified in the app details at all. How is that allowed?
So thankful
After the the original Repost stopped working, I tried various apps, this one truly is exactly like the old Repost, I can post to stories and IG and it has the further conversion to twitter and other platforms, thank you for making a sick app!!!
Not a good app
I was trying this app out for the first time and it immediately asked for a purchase while I was following directions. It happened so fast that I accidentally gave thumb print authorization. Not a free app. This shouldn’t happen when you are following prompts for the first time.Also it appeared that the app could not repost video as is (widescreen version). It condensed it to square shape losing the video ratio and distorting it. Not helpful. Now I gotta go find a way to dispute this accidental purchase of I don’t know what!
Misleading
Like another reviewer, I was attempting to follow the directions given and in the process my thumb apparently paid for something that was $1.99. I still have no idea what I paid for? It happened quick and while I was trying to just understand the app. This is not OK but I’m not sure who to contact about it. After apparently purchasing SOMETHING, it’s not even reposting my video.
Don’t Download!
This app isn’t what you think , I went to download it thinking it was a normal Instagram repost app and without thinking it popped up and thumb print verification and it happened so quick that I put my thumb on the home button and i realized I’d payed $1.99 for the app. This app is deceiving and they know exactly what their doing by getting you to put your thumb down without thinking! Now I don’t know much about getting your money back or if you can but if you can I don’t know how.
Misleading
DO NOT USE THIS APP. ITS A FRAUD. Just like some other reviews I was trying this app for the 1st time and it immediately asked for a purchase when I was trying to install the app which didn’t say it would have a cost when you click download. It happened so fast that just after I clicked some button I realized it was to buy something. My credit card was charged 3,21 for some app that will never use again. Terrible!
This app is amazing...
As someone who uses this app on a day-to-day basis, it’s super easy to use the instructions are so clear. It’s amazing for sharing user generated content! For businesses that support other businesses this is the best app to use!
