Great Tool

This is a very useful tool that gives all of the information that I need to give myself an opportunity to plan my trip and hopefully be successful. Once on the water, your trip can be adjusted as needed using the available information provided. The developer of this app has created a great tool.

Great app for Louisiana Fishermen!

Looking forward to using this app! Super easy to understand. Salinity, wind, temperature and tide all in one spot. I was using 2/3 apps to get all this information, now I am only using just one. The satellite imagery is great too for finding clean water. Great job!

Fantastic app for Louisiana fisherman

This is a fantastic app which gives the Louisiana inshore fisherman instant access to:- Temperature (Air and water)- Salinity (trend, current, and snapshot)- Tide snapshots (projected and actual)- Wind and weather projections- Modis I’ve only been using for a short while, but find myself using this app instead of going to three of four different apps and websites.

User friendly

I work play and breathe fishing, so having a user friendly app for tides and weather is a great asset to your fishing gear.Don’t leave home without it.

Use it for kayaking

Handy and easy to use. Everything is in one place and you don’t have to flip multiple screens to find basic conditions. Highly recommend for kayaking or fishing the coast.

Excellent and intuitive - best combination

Straight forward design with easy to follow functions. Best of all, gives the info I’m looking for when deciding if and where to fish! Pretty much everything I need in one app, expect maybe a picture of where the fish are at....but where’s the fun in that. Thanks for providing this to us!

Hi, I'm Steven Musumeche, a resident of Lafayette, LA and avid saltwater fisherman. I created Salty Solutions to answer a question that I'm always asking myself: When should I go fishing? Like most of you, I have a limited amount of time that I can devote to fishing.

When I plan my next fishing trip, I want to make sure the conditions are conducive to a productive day on the water. There are lots of great websites and apps available with information about weather, tides, and more. However, none of them gave me everything that I wanted to know in a way that could be quickly viewed and easily digested. I'm a software engineer by trade, so I thought, "hey, I can make something decent enough for personal use." After showing it to a few fellow fisherman, I decided to release it publicly for anyone to use for free. I hope you find it useful.
