Best Rugby Game Across All Platforms

This company has produced many great games over the years, and I’ve always had fun! The fact that they can mix gameplay with a realistic and arcade feel is unreal! I honestly hope this company considers making a game for console or even PC. Many of the big console developers should consider hiring this staff or collaborating to create the perfect game. Cheers from the US! Maybe a manager game to come in the future??👀

Needs a tiny bit of fixing

My few complaints are about the energy thing and players running through you when you are trying to tackle them. Get rid of the energy thing because I hate being restricted on how much I can play this amazing game. Sometimes when I try and tackle someone, it doesn’t work and they go straight through my player, however this only happens on a diving tackle. Love this game just PLEASE MAKE THESE CHANGES

RN 19 is better

There are so many bugs and lags in this game. Also there are multiple problems with the National teams and player ratings, positions, and faces. Like how are the Barrett Brothers one brown with a beard and the other white, how is Richie Mounga a Scrummie when he’s a fly half in real life, why is kahzikstan in the rugby World Cup? The game can be better if it’s more realistic. I miss how dominate the teams were. Like no matter how much better I make my team it seems like the weaker teams, who should be blown out and ran over, are hanging in there. Overall I prefer 19 over 22

An upgrade, but equally frustrating.

It’s a lot harder to destroy teams, but the same major issues have just got worse. When you get to elite level and play some teams, it’s impossible to tackle no matter how many tackles you put in. Players will bulldoze through. Very frustrating. As is the fact that opposition players pass the ball between them at an impossibly face pace no matter how many tackles you put in. The worst flaw in this game is the delay in passing. Half the time passing won’t even work you have to push the pass button at least twice. When you win a turn over and want to clear the ball, by the time you’ve directed your kick, you can tackled and lose the ball. As you get to the elite level, good luck trying to ground the ball when you’ve crossed the oppositions try line, you get held up and forced out of play. It’s ridiculous. It’s horrendously flawed and super frustrating to play at times. If you want a fun game to play, play RN19. Developers need to sort the above nonsense out. Very glitchy too in game, way too frequently.

Good but I’m confused

I don’t understand how the fitness system works. Randomly your players will have a red arrow that indicates their fitness is low and the only way I have seen to change it is using the fitness things. But they only last one game then you’re back to low fitness, I’ve tried using two to bring them to green or resting them and it doesn’t work. Really confusing feature

Game has imbalance issues.

Game is the best rugby game available, but needs to work on some gameplay issues relating to the breakdown/tackle. My pack weighs more than the opposition but their props run through 3-4 people without consequence. Additionally, if you are playing a better team, you lose every breakdown despite having more people there. Lastly, the game lets the AI players get away with forward passes Bc they are rated better. All of these factors make playing World Cup mode no fun unless you use a Goliath.

Fun game mostly but swipe controls need adjusting

As someone else pointed out, this is a fun game and it really makes you work for every point. Too many times I’ve tried passing the ball and instead the player kicks the ball 10 yards in front of him. If I wanted a kick I would have used the kick button. I don’t understand why this happens so frequently and it’s cost me so many games. Please fix the controls or allow the option to turn off swipe controls.

Love it but it’s pretty bad

Club (career) mood is weak; can’t create players, can’t view other teams and their players, can’t trade players, can’t get free agents but only through packs which take forever to open unless you pay. I understand you want folks to pay. Cost money to change a player’s name. The controls aren’t great for juking and the kicking isn’t good either; they should be able to squib kick or dribble the ball down the field. Wish we could run plays for offense and change defenses. There should be yellow and red cards. Not everything such as the roll and re-roll for training is explained. Love the game but it’s clearly at its very beginning stages. It will require dedicated fans to stick with it as it improves over the years and maybe some too players will invest in growing the game especially in the American market.

Fun game but AI needs updates

Fun game where it feels like every try is worked for but needs some adjustment especially AI:1) the computer always kicks it out of bounds when it’s over time at half or end of the game even if scoring will get it a bonus point. 2) the AI on penalties will kick to touch 90% of time and scrum 10%. No touch and go or penalty kicks. I have seen the computer kick for touch when it was inches from try line. 3) the player throw in function is wierd versus the defense. I get they want to make the throw ins more fun but the controls don’t give much space to decide middle or long. 4) updating players to make them better is too hard and far between.

Love it

Pretty much as advertised. The only thing that gets on my nerves though is that the game purposely wants to end the game every time you have the ball and it hits 40 mins and at 80 mins. My players don’t knock it on all game but end up COINCIDENTALLY knocking it on at 80 mins every single time. Or they automatically have you kick the ball out to touch at half or full time. Or they overthrow the wing. It’s pretty dumb. It should go until the next dead ball. Edit: this game is absolutely ridiculous, there have been 5 games where my player randomly kicks the ball out of bounds when it reaches full time whether I’m losing, tied, winning. Why is this a thing???? Why do you guys want the games to end so badly that you program these things in?2nd edit: the game tries to purposely end the game at half and at full time EVERY SINGLE TIME.
