Can not use in the vertical / plumb in any way, only horizontally and angles.
This is a nice app, but sadly Iām still searching for a better one. I use this type of tool to measure slopes every day. Itās great that I can take a picture of what Iām measuring with the slope bar superimposed over the image and save to my photos (with permission of course). But it fails in the the gps location is not encoded with the photo so that I can then do a PLACE search in iPhoto to find this data later.
Will no longer install on iPhone 5 w/ iOS 10.3.3
I never leave app reviews, but this app is great. It does one thing and it does it well, without any annoying ads or useless features. Well done and I highly recommend it for measuring whether your picture frames are level.
Like other reviewers said, it does one thing and it does it perfectly.
I have an Apple iPhone SE w/iOS 11.4. I tried another level app that I could not get to work. The addās worked though. So, I tried this app. It appears to work just fine and is really easy, like it should be. š
Iāve never reviewed an app before but this works very smoothly with no problems. It has no adds, in app-purchases or anything. Awesome and very easy to use app.
Only displays to whole numbers. I need .1 degree display. Works well if you donāt mind being off by up to .5 degrees.
Does exactly what it needs to.
The way this app is designed requires a completely flat surface to ācalibrateā the app. However, all this truly does is zero the level. To calibrate is a multi-step procedure which involves taking a reading, then rotating the device 180 degrees and taking another reading, the device should then be able to calculate a true zero. However, the procedure used by this app will only read as level as the surface one zeros the app on. Yet there is no way to know if that surface truly is level.
RIDGID Level features three vials for plumb, level and 45Ā° miter. The display shows the exact measurements currently being reported by the sensors and it supports overlaying leveling information on top of the camera. The application also allows you to calibrate both the vertical and horizontal vials for phones with buttons on the side or cameras on the rear which can interfere with your readings.
