Tried three different Roku TV remotes none of them worked this one actually works the TV and there’s no ads or anything like that

I have a Roku TV that i connect to my macbook M1 w a hmdi cable a lot.This is the only FREE and PERFECT app i could find. It's just like roku app for the phone but this you can get on ipad and at least the 2020 m1 macbook. Thanks to the creator

It’s amazing
The app is amazing. It definitely gets the job done. It’s also very simple. It’s just like the regular Roku remote. If you lost, or broke your old remote, I would definitely recommend this app. It’s easy to use and it’s free.
Works as expected
I have an plain-Jane insignia TV (no apps and not a smart tv) with a Roku 3 attached via HDMI. Out of all of the apps I tested, this is the only one other than the actual app from Roku that will turn the TV on and off using the button. Most apps tested turn it off but not on. To turn the TV on and off using the actual app from Roku is only done via voice command. There is no button. This one has a button so no need to talk. The only thing that this app doesn’t work is the volume controls. I’m not sure of that is even possible to control the volume via the HDMI connection but if so it would make this complete. Only question is I have not seen the usual ‘ad pop ups’ other apps have. Is this just free?

Too many advertisements. When the app is open and the phone goes dormant, the app will need closed out and reopened to use the remote.
