An experience I didn't know I needed

I'm not normally someone who does much outward or inward reflection, but Remento has made it so easy to record interviews of loved ones as well as personal reflections that I've really enjoyed the process. It has been both a blessing to hear and record stories from my parents' earlier years, and a valuable and cathartic experience for me to be asking them about their lives. It's worth trying, you'll be happy you did.

The app I didn’t know I needed

I tried out the beta version with my husband, using the question prompts for spouses and … it was kind of unbelievable how we had conversations that we had never had before. And we talk - a lot. It was great to hear and capture the stories but even better to have this opportunity to reflect and connect in a different way. Get past the initial moment of awkwardness and experience something really fun and special!

Love this app! So excited to use with my family

I love this app! It makes it so easy to document special moments in my families life. My husband and I have been using it to store special memories of our new baby, and I’m so excited to be able to use this as he grows and have all of our milestones documented in one place. It’s also going to make it so easy to share with our family and friends. The app itself is super user friendly, and I’m so excited to continue using Remento with my family!

Very cool and getting even better

The app is currently in beta which is awesome as you get access to all the features and question sets plus the team actually makes changes based on your feedback! The Guided Conversations feature has made me rethink my relationships with my family and how heads-down we go through life. Taking the time to just ask these basic but revealing questions brings the past forward in such an engaging way. The Photo Stories feature turns a single photo into a story or a series of photos into a living scrapbook. Very cool.

Forget Storyworth - this app is SO much better

Whenever my parents shared stories about their past, I alway wished I had recorded them to preserve the memory of the story itself, but also how they expressed themselves while telling it. Other solutions, like Storyworth, were tedious and felt transactional. I tried Remento and it made the process feel human. I love the thoughtfully curated questions, which revealed stories from my parents’ past that I would have never known otherwise. I also love the photo prompts, because so many of their stories are sparked by looking through old photo albums. The user experience of this app is so slick and it will undoubtedly be a repository for conversations that I will want to save and refer back to for years to come. Love this app and grateful for the conversations that it will helpme have!

Just what I’ve been looking for

This is such an amazing idea and app. In a world of endless content, it can be hard to focus on the content that matters most. Remento has honed in on creating just that. The easy user experience paired with conversations and content that matter is a truly winning combination. On a personal note, I am watching my parents progress through their 60s and experience their own parents’ deaths. I can’t help but think about when that day comes for me and how I will miss the sage advice and stories that my parents have shared with me for the last 30 years. I spent a few hours recording videos of my parents with Remento and I have never felt so refreshed, inspired and grateful for an app or an idea. I can’t wait to keep capturing these memories and investing in this family heirloom which I know will be a gift for generations to come.

Awesome app to create content that matters

If you are like me, you have 10,000 photos on your phone (most of which you will never look at again). This app lets you create meaningful videos and photo stories with family and capture some of the most important conversations in your life: those with people you really care about.When my grandfather passed away, we all kicked ourselves that we had never sat down and filmed a candid discussion on his life. Make that time for your family and this app truly makes it easy.Looking forward to the continued updates as they release more features!

Cool idea & nice app!

I think the concept here has a lot of potential! People take so many photos/videos, it’s neat to consider grouping them and adding commentary that makes them so much more rich and interesting. I’ve only used it for myself so far, but I’ll definitely use it with my parents & grandparents when I can. The app itself is nicely designed too and seems to work well. It's missing features and pretty basic, but I’m sure more will be added in time.

Really thoughtfully designed

This app is fantastic! Lots of careful work and design has gone in to making it an invaluable tool in setting up more meaningful conversations with close family members. My siblings and I have started using this to speak with our parents and record family memories and I cannot imagine starting this process without having the app to guide us through. Well worth the download and the experience - highly recommended to anyone who wants to learn more from their close relatives!

Amazing app

Hello I really enjoyed this app especially because it’s really hard for me to stay connected with my family and friends because I live on the other side of the coast being the West Coast and all my family East Coast sometimes crates a big disconnect but this app has been really fun and just creating memories that I can share with my friends and my family and stay connected and not feel alone at times this app has is definitely connect me with my family in ways I have not been done before so I’m so grateful for this amazing fun and innovative app
