Was good, now it's....

I was very happy with this app when it was first released, now I hesitate to use it, and I need to use it A LOT. My main issue is I have to type messages in my notes app then copy/paste them into my rally app bc the text is hidden way up in the top of the Compose window. If you try to use the Compose window as-is, you're typing completely blind. It's been going on for months and I was hopeful the latest update would fix it, but no dice. In fact, the new "edit message" feature is useless bc you can't even see what you're editing. Very frustrating!!!Also, the when you edit any events in the calendar, the start times change themselves and automatically default to something weird, rather than the calendar just saving your edits. Therefore, I have to go in twice to edit any events.

Love the Rallyhood App

This is a great app for groups. I am part of a large Girl Scout group that uses this tool, but I use it for many other functions--monthly meet ups and an extended family for sharing preparation about reunion and sharing photos afterwards. The hardest part is getting everyone on board! If your group gets on, this app is very functional. The calendar features are great; create an appointment with the correct location and the map shows up for all people in the group who need to attend the event. Files, messages, photos, and even signups. Good luck!

Beyond Elementary

Our building just implemented Rallyhood. It’s a great concept, however lacking in practicality.We have the New version. I met with one of our building admin (Rally admin) yesterday. We were discussing the app, I am certain there is no QA at the company. I’ve had it installed for 4 days and these are my findings.-They have actually used Rally and Group as interchangeable terms in a portion of the app. Our Admin said there is no difference in the term when I asked.-From my email notification of activity on the app- getting to the app is cumbersome.-The app search function, isn’t specific to your building community. I understand they want to be inclusive for you to use for multiple communities, but if feels creepy.-When you do a search function, you are left on that page. You have to swipe up, out of the app, and relaunch to get back to the Home Screen.-You are never logged out of the app, This gives me some concerns.-When we first launched the app, upon installation, it does not recognize your password. We worked around this by, using keychain from the “origination” webpage.-I’ve played with my notifications, I still only get email notifications, I have no notification indicator directly on the app button. Sorry, I don’t know all the technical terminology. I’ve don’t have a direct background in technology.-It seems to be a nightmare for the Admin too, as the app generates tons of email requests to them. They seem to not have a way to work directly in the app. I seem to have deleted my Notes page with my questions and screenshots, I took to our Admin, but this is a brief from memory review. Overall the app has too many clicks to get to and from information. Trying to see who is in your Rally (Friends) you can’t click on Members (while a #) is apparent. You must go to the bottom of the screen and click a menu bar to the find Friends. Again, two words meaning the same thing.

Mobile app fails to deliver; is my data safe? Rallyhood’s future?

As a regular user of Rallyhood rallies on desktop, I can attest this is one of the worst mobile apps. - Regular problems with login/ authentication- This not a true “native app”; you’re better off opening Rallyhood in Safari, Chrome or other browser de jour- Rallyhood is not focused on delivering updates to address needs of mobile device users; they have not released any update to their app in over a year, while instead adding other features in their site’s capabilityThe lack of investment into mobile capability this day and age leaves me questioning Rallyhood’s longevity and what happens to all the information loaded to Rallyhood if they fold? Anyone considering Rallyhood should do so only if mobile is not important to you.Consumers desire a truly seamless, error free, intuitive ease of getting things done in their community. This mobile app fails.

Awful

If I could give this zero stars I would. Our Girl Scout council is requiring all service units and leaders to use this program for communication. Rallyhood is just not great. Maybe it was 11 years ago when it came out but it is useless now. The “app” is just a website push, we get zero notifications on the app, and bombarded with emails. I’m frustrated because there are no rally notifications so if you don’t read every email or visit every rally you belong to, you’re not seeing the messages. Btw, I belong to at least 10 rallies (and that’s just a typical leader without holding a leadership position) so notifications on the app are important. I wish our council spent some time researching team apps and using them, or asking for recommendations from leaders, because there are so many better ones out there.

A "duh" for any group leader

The mobile app is yet another great reason to choose Rallyhood over other group application. The app is clean, simple, and streamlined enough so when I’m out on the go, I can easily see updates and respond to messages. No brainer for us to use. Can’t wait for future updates. It’s only going to get better and better. Thank you, Rallyhood Team.

Great, all-in-one organization app

This is an awesome way to organize your group, be it your local Pee Wee Hockey Team, book club, political group, weekly chapter meeting, women entrepreneur besties, or even your remote co-workers. It’s all the best features of my favorite tools rolled into one. It’s like Basecamp for moms, with organized files, docs, photos, lists, calendars, email and text. Add in the idea of a SignUp Genius. There’s also a payment feature using Stripe, event planning, task management, member directories and analytics. Huge thumbs up.
