Doesn’t total rain for the year. A major reason for tracking your rain. Misleading descriptions and questionable new round of reviews after update.
Suggestion- if a day was erroneously selected (it did not rain on that day), the history for that day should be completely deleted. Instead it shows a rainfall amount of "0.00" for that day that was "cleared" or amount was deleted. Also, after the latest version, 2.0.1, the app will crash when I go from viewing the weekly chart to viewing the monthly chart or vice versa.
After my yard died last year, I was determined to water my lawn this year. I have a rain gauge that tells me if it has rained enough to forgo watering, but does not tell me the rain by week. Your yard needs around "1.5 inches of water a week to stay healthy. This app helps me log the rain by day. I would really like it if on the week report it could give me the total by week. Small effort change, but a big help! That would be worth another star. As for those who thought this app would somehow know how much it rained at Their house....... Interesting.
This app needs you to enter the amounts for each day. It does not TELL you how much rain fell on any given day. You have to know how much rain fell, then manually enter it into a “journal” like tracker. Not what I was expecting.
Doesn’t provide user with ANY information. It merely log the data that the user enters. This is USELESS!
It’s a log that you can put data into. Has no integration to any source for content.
I've been using this app for about four years now. It has all the features I need.
Had this app for over 4 years, was working great before IOS update 14.3. Now the app closes right after it is opened, there’s no way to get the data from the app.
As a storm spotter, NOAA has given me a rain guage and expects phone-in reports when our weather gets really nasty. I forget to write down what I saw when I empty the rain guage. This is perfect. Since I carry my iPod with me I can go to my rain guage several times and not have to fire up my computer to enter the readings. It is very good when I am at the harbor (fishing town on the ocean) or even inland. I can record the weather as I see it instead of trying to remember when I get home. I would have had the app a long time ago if I had thought of searching for one.
I was not looking for an app to log data into. Wanted a location based app that tells me the area rainfall amounts. Apple needs a way to refund your purchase if not the app you wanted when you know this in the first few minutes after purchasing.
