Wonderful!
I have searched and searched for an actual *free* app that has continuous rain sounds. I finally stumbled upon Rainscapes and couldn’t be happier. It even continues playing if I open up another app like a game, etc. That’s a rarity to find and a plus for me because sometimes I want to play games to relax myself before bed but I like to have my rain sounds while doing so. Now I can! I highly recommend this app.
More than a sleep aid
Very nice. In addition to dozing off to the sound of rain, I can enjoy using it as a gentle audio background while working or studying at home.Doesn’t intrude like music can, and not torn between trying to listen to a podcast while attempting to work.Perfect for filling in my audio background.
Love it
I am a light sleeper and when some one else in the house is still up and has TV on I usually have a hard time sleeping. The last two nights. I play this rain sound on the timer and it hides the other sounds in the house and I go right to sleep. Love it.
my favorite app ever
I don’t know where I’d be this quarter without this app, i live in a place that always has some kind of sounds going on that overwhelm me easily and what’s why I need some kind of white noise to help me concentrate on my work, this works so good. The best part? No ads and plays continuously! Thank you.
Awesome
This sounds so realistic and clear. It’s also simple and straight forward. It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for. This is my first time trying it and I hope it runs all night when not setting the timer. I want something that lasts longer than hour. It’s great and worth a try. I love it.
Very soothing rain and thunder sounds
This is a very high quality app. The rain sounds and the other sounds, like the thunder and cave sounds, are very relaxing. And plus, they loop perfectly. It also plays music in the background of other apps and you could mix it with audio coming from other apps (and I like how the volume controls are independent from the system volume). My complaint is that you cannot play multiple sounds at the same time. I wanted to play the rain sounds and mix it with the thunder sounds but I could only play one at a time (I'd like an update to allow mixing of the sounds). And also, I really enjoy the cave/cavern water sounds but the volume of the recording is too quiet and I could barely hear it (I would like it if the cave sound volume was boosted higher).This is one of my favorite and most used rain sounds app, so I give it 5 stars.
Amazing !
I’ve been looking for months for the perfect sounds and I finally found it ! I’ve tried meltable apps and nothing beats this one it will stay on for hrs and you can adjust the time to shut it off !
Realistic rain- just like home!
I love the sound effects, types of rain, and the timer feature. I took away a star because the navigation symbols seem needlessly tiny, and the navigation path backward (should I change my mind about which type of rain to use) is non-intuitve. I look forward to other varieties of rain (different terrain & kocations).
Great
I have used this app for a couple of years now and have loved it. I noticed the last couple of mornings while waking up I thought I heard low music and talking. I think they are playing adds in the background. My wife noticed it too.
Best Sleep Ever
I have tried app after app, only to delete them after finding out they do nothing for me. With Rainscapes I sleep deeply and long with no interruptions in my sleep cycle. One of the things I like is that I do not have to have Rainscapes on loud. I can just barely hear it, yet I sleep so deep and am so rested the next day. Amazing little app, I would recommend Rainscapes to anyone who sleeps lightly or can't sleep deeply like they used to.
