My Tesla has a rated 0-60 of 3.7s. But when putting that to the test with this app, I kept getting results in the 5-6 second range, which made me suspicious. So I used the more accurate method of slow-mo recording a stop watch and got 3.79s under same conditions. TLDR: didn’t expect this thing to be super accurate, but its wayyyy off.
Absolutely awesome. Appears to be accurate. I don’t really see how you could improve it any, does exactly what you need it to.
I tried 5 or 6 apps and deleted them all. This is one that was accurate and easy to use.
Tesla Model 3 Long Rang and my 0-60 is 7.2 seconds? Obviously not even close. Not mad about it, but don’t download the app thinking you’ll get accurate results.
This app had great reviews so I figured I’d give it a try. Not sure if I’m doing something wrong, if the phone Hass to be held in a vertical position, that’s ridiculous. Very difficult to do in a car without a specific mount. My phone sits about a 45° angle. I tried this app multiple times, I hit 60mph every time - the app never showed that I got past 40mph. Now just driving around, it’s very accurate, it matches the speed of my car identically but it can’t handle the rapid acceleration part. Edit: I downloaded the app again months later and thought I would try it. 0 to 60 in a performance model three Tesla still says 9.7 seconds 0 to 60, repeatedly. I hit 60 miles an hour and it doesn’t show up for another six seconds.
I really like this app but it needs a start button. I have tons of random readings saved and the only way to get rid of them is by deleting all history, so a start button and little count down would make this the perfect app, me and several people I know do lots of 0-60 tests regularly.
I love this app. I just wish it had an 1/8 mile setting. I run the 1/8 more than anything. Also I use it on the street for my Speedo. I’ve checked it against a radar and it’s very accurate.
This app is great and would be a 5-star except it is missing one thing…the ability to choose what data to delete.
Apparently my friends stock car is just as fast as my tuned and FBO car. This app is extremely inaccurate and does not give you true times. Go buy a draggy.
Using the 0-60 timer, it timed my E36 M3 at 7.3 seconds, which would mean it’s as slow as a base Honda Civic. Quite suspicious. So I timed it with video instead and got around 5.7 seconds 0-60. Just watching the timer as I began accelerating, I could tell it didn’t even start recording acceleration for around 1.5 seconds. It’s a sizable delay, and makes the 0-60 timer completely useless. The G-meter works fine, so it gets a couple stars for that.
Race Stats: Speedo and G Force shows GPS speed, real time GForce, it measures your 0-60 mph or 0 -100 km/h and 1/4 mile or 400 m. You can simulate a drag race using this app. It's easy to use because it will start and stop the timer automatically.
