The game is a great idea but lacks in a huge way

This game has a great idea with the fighting and matching, but your opponents at times or you will have a gross advantage. In this game you have a tug of war system each hero provides abilities. First thing awesome heroes with excellent abilities, but at times this can be deviating. If you try to strategize a good move against your opponent or for yourself your opponent can mess this up with the tug of war aspect. Biggest negative is that you and your opponents can use the power ups. Then at times one side will have an extreme advantage from the start as time goes your opponent or yourself will gain a gross amount of tiles for huge plays. An the other-side will have nothing or lack the ability to mount a counter in anyway. The best way to fix an issue like this is to expand the board and disable the ability of your opponent and yourself from acting on these as certain power up can be used twice like two green abilities can change the entire core of the strategy. An one of the yellow cards allow you to take the others power ups completely and this majority of the matches I played the this power up pushes them to the end where you have no ability to get your power ups back.

Poor matching and not made for free play

The opponent matching is HORRIBLE and favors the lower point opponents. I found that as I got further in the game, I started being matched with opponents that were up to 100 points lower than me, and they ALWAYS have the starting move. Also, If you win the round, you may get 10 to 20 trophy points but if you lose you lose 20 to 40 points! So playing is basically gambling where the house always wins! This game is not made for people that want a F2P! I started playing this game and got pretty far until I hit the point range below the 5th arena (around 800 trophy point) and found that the only way for me to hit the 5th arena (1000 trophy points) is to buy a bunch of bundles to get enough character tokens/cards to upgrade the “rare” characters to get enough power to win!I think my mistake was even starting to play in the first place, I’m likely gonna’ delete it.

Great PvP Game

It’s a fun game you’re playing against a player not a computerI paid the five dollars and when I won all 35 levels before the deadline my doubling automatically of my bit the color bits EndedSo for the next nine days I had to watch videos in order to double my bits which is really unfair since I paid for it so I’ve paid again another five dollars and my bits are not doubled this time at all so there’s no bonus to not watching videos and automatically getting double bits of color ? The color bits are for upgrading the cards

Fun game at first

Fun game when your level is low but when you be better, you will get only gold bars and no gems to make a move while AI gets all the gems and little gold, gold bar no use when you need gems to survive, also in the heist, when you got better, game freeze when you decide your move and then you see your life bar disappear as if AI don’t want you to make move or skip a move, that’s not my Internet because when AI move, it never freeze. And all AI get is the best move and all we players get is no move, or app frozen when you make a move. If this is how this game progress im not recommending it but I give 3 star for now because i like The game. I will reduce more stars if there is no improvement to gameplay

More luck than skill

At first this game is really fun but the more you play the more you realize it really is up to luck. Based on the tiles you and your opponent get determines the winner. I would say about 75% of the games are decided before it even starts. Typically you get really lucky and your opponent gets really unlucky or the other way around. Wins aren’t satisfying and losses are really frustrating as you really don’t have much control.

Great concept but bad execution

I’d say it’s a fun and good PvP concept. However, the execution is pretty bad. The game leaves no room for true skill PvP as they way the boards organize in the first 2-3 turns dictate how the game plays out and who wins. There is little to no back and forth. In some cases, you have to either be ridiculously dense or misclick badly to lose. That takes away the competition essence of the game because there is no competition at all. You should look at your tiles generation to make things more balance. As it is today, the game is not great

Suggestions

I don’t usually do this, but this game has good potential…Solid idea, but there are a few issues I see to where you’re going to loose people. 1) game glitches way too much. I’ll be in the middle of a match and the game starts playing by itself, or I’ll finish my move and the “opponents” (we all know we are not playing actual other people) move is made immediately and all of a sudden all my players are on the other side of the field. 2) keys take too long to generate. The games take about a minute or two to play and a chest is a minimum of 3 keys. Even with power-ups the keys take 15 minutes each to respawn! Ditch the keys and give the treasure bags a time limit based on rarity and offer speed-ups or the use of gems to open them. 3) the ratio between trophies won and lost, is way too large. Also it’s not published anywhere if you win, how many you get nor if you lose, how many you lose. The amount is anywhere between 5-20 for a win and 20-50 for a loss. All in all a good base game, just some suggestions on how to keep people around a little longer. Also the ads are trash, get better ones or ditch them all together. 💪🏼

Bit bugged but fun

Great fun of a pvp game, a lot of RNG and skill. Feels almost like a checkers/chess game too. Good idea to think about skills/perks that are activated and how the board might look for your enemy after your move… Only issue I have found is with the hero skill of Mario (revive), once it’s activated he keeps reviving no matter how much he is killed. Still fun but that part is quite annoying (even if I’m benefiting from it)

Fun game

Puzzle Wars is a general concept game that happens to flow just right. I’ve played many puzzle matching games that are supposedly competitive or PvP. However, majority of them were just playing against bots or the fluidity of the game itself was lackluster. Puzzle wars seems to do it just right. I’m hoping for for updates and tweaks that will make the game a little more competitive and a little less random, but overall a good game to pass time.

Fun game with HORRIBLE matchmaking

It’s super fun if you can get a good opponent. I just played 5 matches back to back where the opponent had more health, higher multipliers, and more luck than me. It’s weird to get mad at the luck, but when you have 5 back to back matches where your opponents board is full of one color at least twice a match, it doesn’t feel like rng. To have more health and higher multipliers you need to upgrade your heroes. But to upgrade your heroes you need to win. If I’m constantly being paired with stronger opponents how can I win? I can’t. Also show me a timer and stop letting my opponent run the timer into the ground over and over wasting my time. On top of that, the targetting system of the heroes doesn’t make any sense, there were multiple cases where my heroes could’ve taken out their a good chunk of the opponents heroes, but they just target random enemies and no one dies so the next turn my opponent just stacks heroes and I can’t compete. Horrid matchmaking with a numerous of quality of life changes that are desperately needed for a game over a year old. edit: 7 games in a row where the opponent had better rng. if you’re wondering how I know I have worse rng. It’s bc after winning 4 matches in a row, my side of the board didn't have a combo possible over 6 while my opponents had at least 2 combos of 9+ each match
