The Best App for Pumping Moms

When I started exclusively pumping for our baby I was clueless at what I was getting myself into and overwhelmed at the idea of keeping track of milk amounts. I started off with the free trial and from there I was hooked. It is absolutely worth every penny. This is coming from someone that won’t even spend one dollar on apps. This app has been my companion throughout my pumping journey. I tried many other free apps for logging milk oz and none compare. This one is straight forward, user friendly and very clever. I love the timer built in, I love that you can log your freezer stash and estimate your ending date, I love that it tracks your daily averages. It’s honestly everything I could hope for in a pumping app and has made this difficult journey so much easier. My only wish is that the app would store away all your info and make way for the next pumping journey for next baby!

It’s really worth getting

So I breastfed 2 babes for 2+ years and on my 3rd I found myself in an unwanted position to exclusively pump. Let me tell you, pumping is a whole different world if you do it exclusively. I had 2 littles under 5 and a newborn. I needed everything that was easier and helpful. THIS APP IS A MUST. It helps keep track of your pumps super easily and is very user friendly. It has reminders for your next pump (you can set any amount of time, every 2 hours? 3? 4? 5 hours and 6 minutes?! Yes!) it also helps track your frozen stash, and will give a count down day of when you can stop pumping, taking into consideration your output, stash and how long you want to provide breastmilk. For me, seeing an end date is mentally helpful, the silver lining, as pumping is tough! Do yourself the favor and get this app. I paid for others and they just have so much junk and clutter, I’ve never even opened them since I bought this one. Is it 100% worth it, I promise!

New NICU momma

I recently was induced and birthed my son early due to preeclampsia. It completely ruined any plans I had for what I wanted my l&d to be like, the last bit of my pregnancy and most importantly what I thought would be my breastfeeding start. After I had him I ended up seizing and passing out, oh the joy, and wasn’t able to get him right on the boob or be able to at least pump. Finally about a day and half almost two days later I was brought a machine to be able to try and pump to get my flow going. My lactation nurse told me how important especially getting started late and my baby being in NICU it was to be able to track how much production I’m able to do to better help figure out our needs. She handed me a list of apps and I downloaded just about all of them just to see. When it comes to ease of documenting pumping this app hands down is the best. It is extremely simple, can make edits easily and gives you reminds on when to pump. It’s honestly helped me so much stay on track. Other apps made it confusing or too complicated to want to even really figure it out but this one is straight forward. Definitely will be purchasing to continue our pumps! From a first time mom and a NICU mom - thank you for this app. You’re really helping overwhelmed moms out and doing us a solid.

The first app I’ve paid for in years, 0 regrets

If it wasn’t for this app, I could’ve never boosted my supply. I love this app. Everything ab it is the motivation and reminder I need to keep pumping throughout the day. It almost turns it into a game how many pumps I can get in. I used to be an over supplier, then got sick and wasn’t pumping nearly as much as I thought I was and when I started seeing it laid out in this app is when I realized I needed to step it up. The only thing I dislike ab this app, one small tiny thing, is that once you hit “add new record” it uses the “start time” as when you first started pumping, thus as soon as you click done it already will say you’re 40 minutes into needing to pump again. All you have to do to rectify this however is change the start time to whatever time it is when you got done pumping, and no it does not affect the record of how long you pumped. That’s the only criticism I can come up w. Ehhh maybe w choice in color schemes would be nice. But other than that, this is the first app I’ve payed for in 10 years and have 0 regrets. It gives you 50 free records to try it out, so there’s absolutely no reason not to. Happy pumping mamas!! Xx

Works great, but always room to improve

It might be because I’m not the target demographic for this app (I’m not an exclusive pumper, I only pump while at work), but often this app doesn’t quite work perfectly for my needs. But it’s darn close!I wish that the “when can I stop pumping” option was more customizable. I pump at work to feed my baby for the next day. He eats 15 oz a day and I pump 20 oz. I can enter that into the app and it’ll tell me how long I need to pump until I can exclusively switch to frozen milk. However if I only want to replace one bottle a day with frozen (and drop one pumping session at work), there is no option for this. You can’t just change the amount he eats per day, because then the app will overestimate how much milk you are saving.I also wish I could look at each breast’s stats over time (I have one wimpy one I’m trying to boost up, but it’s hard to tell if my efforts are working). I also wish the charts went back further in time, ideally with a search or month selector function. It would also be great if there was a way to track milk boosters, like teas, supplements, etc to see if they affect your supply. Or a way to see if time of day affects your output. But these are just wants, the app works awesome and does exactly what it says it will. I’ve never had any issues with it.

Simple yet efficient for EP mothers!

I spent a while searching for an app that would allow me to track my output via pumping. A lot of the apps I found was more of a baby tracker, which was somewhat distracting as I was focused on wanting to track pumping specifically. This app is pretty simple and doesn’t have many bells and whistles, but the functionality is unrivaled. I love that I can track between ml and oz (because not all of us can pump 10+ ounces per session!), and keep track of my freezer stash. As an analytical person who loves data, it’s great to see my daily output trend, as well as my weekly data. I initially held off on purchasing the full version because I didn’t want to spend that much, but ended up purchasing it and do not regret it. I do think it’s a tad overpriced for what you get in the full version (only difference is unlimited logs), but it ultimately is worth it.

A Working Mom Must Have

I started this app the day I went back to work after having my baby. I’ve used it for every pump every single day since. I love everything about it. The timer is quick and easy to set. It tracks how long you’re pumping. It runs in the background so you can surf the web or watch endless videos of your baby while pumping. I even had to restart my phone one time, and the timer continued running. This app tracks the amount of time you spent pumping and how much milk you’ve pumped out every day. All of that is important to maintain your milk supply after going back to work. I make sure to pump for at least 15 min each time. Anything short of that my milk supply lessens. Here’s my only wish: this app doesn’t allow for a “breastfed” option. I usually breastfeed my baby in the evening. And since I’m an avid pumper, I can estimate how much I breastfed him. I wish I could add that in to my daily tracker. It wouldn’t count toward the “stored milk” calculator, but it would help track the daily amount of milk extracted.

NICU Mom lifesaver

I love this app! It truly has been a lifesaver as my son was born 15 weeks early and I was thrown into pumping unexpectedly. I was writing each pump down and how much I produced to track so I always had to keep up with a paper and this app made a huge difference in tracking my supply. I love the notifications, the ability to adjust the notification timeframe, the visual for minutes/amount of pumps and how much was produced. The notifications were extremely helpful especially since I didn’t have my baby near to notify my body that it was time to produce. A little tip to help moms just starting to use this app, enter the amount pumped before moving the stash button. I tried to be proactive and set the time, stash and enter notes but it back fired as it saves what is currently entered for the amount pumped so many of my early pumps had a stash of “0” and I have to go back and edit those pumps. I would highly recommend using this app to all pumping moms especially those back to work.

Pumping Mommas Need This!!

This is not a bias review at all! I am very particular about apps and if I leave a review it's either the app is really good or very bad and people should know! Well in this case, this app is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!! I could not imagine pumping without this app ever! I love that you can push the clock button and it immediately starts your log and times the length of your pump, I love the conversion calculator from oz. to mL! I love that it also gives you a quick glance to when the last time you pumped was. That really helps! And the alarm! I'm telling you if you can pay for his app, do it! It will definitely save you a headache and you'll love the total amount of what you pumped that day! Also the calculator that estimates by how much you make when you can stop pumping! This app definitely earned its 5 stars from me! Let's just say after the trial I bought it and will never let it go 💗

The BEST pumping app!

The layout and organization of this app is perfect because I can clearly see all the information in a straightforward and organized way. I also prefer this app over others because I am a mother of multiples and all the other apps I’ve used don’t take pumping for multiples into consideration (they don’t allow for the pump tracking to apply to each baby’s profile or as a single unit). The function that reminds you to pump as you’re entering your current pumping session and the time since your last session is a genius idea. You can tell real parents put a thoughtful effort into this app. The countdown calculator is great for planning ahead and helping you determine your needs/goals in pumping. My favorite feature that I couldn’t find with any other app is the ability to alter the unit of measurement (oz/ml). This is especially important to moms who’s milk is just coming in as they start to produce more and want the ability to easily enter the totals. The only downside is that you get 50 records before you have to pay for the app and get unlimited records. There is an export data feature so at least it’s not like they force you to pay to use the app. Also, I just wish they’d add features/versions for tracking other parts of infancy (diapers, feeding, sleeping, etc) because I enjoy this app so much!
