My review

I really really love this app! I’ve had it for quite some time now and I really have been enjoying it! Something about the app that I really like is that you can use color codes to make your comments different colors! For example, one of my favorites is sillysalmon, so if you typed that in at the end of your comment, it would be a salmon color once you posted the comment! One thing that used to bother me a lot is when you post to groups, I’ve noticed it lags a little bit before it actually shows up on your account. Now it only bothers me a little bit. I really like that if you feel unsafe, you can block or report a person also. The only other thing that bothers me is sometimes when you type something in, it tags out to be emojis. I totally think it’s great to have this for when people are writing things that aren’t totally appropriate, but for example, I posted a picture of an Instax mini camera one time, so I put a hashtag in the tag spot that said #instaxcam, and it tagged out. Most times, I’m fine when things tag out, but like if I’m trying to read a comment on one of my posts when things tag out it’s hard to understand what it says. Other than that, I really don’t have any complaints! I really think this app is awesome! You can do a ton of different things on it, while having fun, and it’s VERY secure so you can stay safe!

Like it but

So I have bad things to write about and good things to write about of PopJam. First the good things I really like this app it is so fun to play with and I like that you can write on your post and draw what you want and I like that there is extra safety that you cant show your face and tell where you live and all that so those are the good things. Moving on to the bad things I don’t like that you have to wait a few hours and minutes to rejam a post and I hate that sometimes when you try to post something it does not post and I hate that when you try to comment something or say something on your post it puts emojis over it and I also don’t like is that you can’t post nothing at 10:00 pm or somewhere around that time and I hate that you have a limit to write something and you can’t put more than 3 stickers on a post those are all the reasons what I don’t like about popjam. I would really like if ya would fix all those things but otherwise than that I still like popjam and it is still fun and I hope that I can keep posting more things and I hope there is future updates and that’s all I had to say 🙂

Awesome!

As an avid user of PopJam since 2020, I can confidently say it’s great! It’s all you want in a social media app for artists but wrapped in a nice family-friendly package. There are various text filters and post filters alongside in-app reminders to not share personal information that are heavily enforced as to keep your kids safe. I believe it’s a great app for kids who may want to try social media and share their art without the consequences of adult oriented apps. Plus the amount of features that are unique to the app, you can draw on the app, take photos with face-blocking filters, enter daily challenges, customize your page with a banner/color and pattern options, join groups, like, comment, rejam (repost), and several other things! Anywho, I’d recommend this app 100%. The only small things that I would critique would be the inability to use the app past a certain time frame (which may be a positive to others but nonetheless), bias towards users who use PopJams in app drawing program when it comes to daily challenges and neon stars (awards given to talented artists) this is understandable but still annoying a bit because as a user who more commonly draws on an outside platform it tends to be a bit lacking in certain tools like layers and the paint bucket, and occasionally the app performs a bit glitchy, but nonetheless it’s not too much of an issue. Anywho, I’d definitely recommend this app!! :)

Really Good But..

This app is a really good app if you are not really allowed to have big social media’s like insta, snap and stuff like that. One of the things that just recently has been getting on my nerves is when I’m scrolling through my feed and liking stuff I get to an add/adds and PopJam sorta restarts it and it takes me a bit to find the pic I was on. Ok.. I mean I don’t think it restarts it but it like somehow scrolls up for you and you sometimes lose the post you were on. The other thing is there is a bunch of adds that just recently started when your on your feed and adds pops up but all you want to do it look at people’s amazing art. One other thing is that on this app there is become a problem where fellow Popjammers have been saying they have been bullied or something along the lines of that. Personally I have not been bullied but I think a couple of people haven’t been the nicest but I keep on living my life because it hasn’t become serious for me. One suggestion I would make is can you plz make videos accessible because it may be a safety issue but I think you could add the filters to not show people’s faces for privacy. If you are looking to get PopJam than it is a fun app so I recommend it. Have a nice day!

So, I’ve had popjam for a few yrs now. And it’s a great app, especially if you want to give your kids a safer social media option. BUT, there’s definitely room for improvement. The app glitches a lot. Whenever i post something, it always posts two or takes a while to load and then goes back to normal. Also, i think we should be allowed to post celebs. Maybe it’s just me, but i tried to make a celeb my profile pic and it didn’t post. But it works fine when other ppl do it.🤔Then, we should be allowed to make videos. Even if it can’t be videos of people, they should still be an option. Now some of the stuff i get bc it’s a safe kids app. But other things just don’t make sense. We should be able to have much more rejams and not have to wait 6hrs. Last, the most annoying thing, CENSORS. PLEASE PLEASE remove them. Censoring cuss words makes sense. But before you censor it there should be someone reading it. If the sentence is “you’re dumb” then it makes sense to be censored. But if it’s something like “that show is dumb” or “my (whatever) looks stupid” then there’s no reason to censor it. We can’t even say the word name half of the time. Overall, this is a great app, but needs some improvements.

Hilarious

I’m in high school, so I’m definitely out of the age range for this one. I have never actually used popjam. However, I have two younger sisters (age 9 and 10) who use this app all the time. I’ve looked on it a couple of times and it’s one of the funniest apps I’ve seen. It’s pretty similar to instagram, except most of the features are removed. If you try to take a picture of yourself in the app it will put an emoji over your face. However, this is completely pointless considering you can easily upload a picture of your face from your camera roll. The funniest thing for me is what these elementary schoolers are posting. It’s like 2014 instagram but worse. You’ll find chain mail and Taylor Swift photos galore. 95% of these images on popjam are probably stolen from Tumblr. It is fairly kid sage from what I can tell. If you try to type a “bad word” it will put hashtags. My sisters use this app all the time and they really like having their kids instagram. I would definitely recommend this for kids under 13 rather than instagram, because there can be very inappropriate content shown there. Overall, I find Popjam ironically hilarious. 10/10 would recommend

Change the logo, comments, and alerts back! And stop trying to make this for gamers!

I have been playing this game since 2017 and over the years, the game has gotten…Interesting. Every update to make it “better” has made it worse! Here’s an example, the logo. The logo used to be very colorful with a white star in the middle. Then in 2020, the logo changed. The only thing that changed was the colors. They were just swapped. So the charm was still there. But now, the logo is just so…Plain and boring. And the comments! Why are they so tiny?! It gives me a headache just looking at those tiny words! And the alerts, why’d you turn them into events?! That’s so inconvenient! Also, why are you partnering with those annoying YouTubers with those stupid exaggerated expressions?! This is an app for art, not gaming! Sure you can have people post stuff about video games, but don’t make it the main focus! Not to mention how small the screen is! Not all people play popjam on their phones! Please change the logo, comments, and alerts back! Update: Okay, what the actual heck is happening?! Why are people being banned for no reason?! Is this because everyone hates the new updates? Listen to them, don’t ban them! You guys are adults! Stop being so immature! ALSO PERMANENTLY BAN ANYONE WHO IS TARGETING MINORS

Perfect for children who want social media! One suggestion though

Btw my app review name is tigeriffic not tradeshowerI love this game! I spend hours and hours giving shoutouts to my followers, setting up competitions, and making silly posts! I love the feature where you can take photos with filters but the filters aren’t very efficient. Like I would look up and the filter would have disappeared. I love how you can put your own photos from your photo library but why do you have to wait until level 6? I also enjoy rejams but why can you only have about 2 rejams and then you have to wait 5 hours to rejam again? My one suggestion is that we have videos. Like for vlogs we can still have the (sadly inefficient) filters on our faces or we can do slime videos or whatever else without photos. I love doing the quizzes and games but why can’t there be a little tool to make our own? Also I think we should have some more drawing tools like a fill bucket and a blend brush. And why is there animated sticker and text limits? It doesn’t make sense. This game is really fun though and I recommend! Sorry this review was really long LOL!

Extraordinary app, I would definitely recommend! Although,there are a few problems.

I got Popjam about a year ago, and so far I’ve really been having fun with it! Popjam entertains me most of the time, and I play it on a daily basis. I’ve made lots of friends on popjam, and there are so much talent, and sweet people! My account has really grown, and I’ve been having so much fun posting art, and edits! Popjam if excellent and I love the app, although there are some problems to. Sometimes when updates happen, instead of it becoming better, it becomes worse. For example, some people can’t post, and their home page might look very different and odd. I do appreciate though how they try to fix it after! Another problem is, sometimes your post don’t post right away. I find this a little annoying at times, because when I post something it might not post right away. The main reason I’m annoyed of this is people heart it when it isn’t really posted, since they can see it, but when it actually posts, you loose all your hearts. Also most people are nice, but some people steal art, and they are sometimes rude people at times (but most of them are nice!)Tags can be a problem to though, since sometimes you don’t even say something bad and it tags out. Example of tags: 😀🍕🐌👞👞🌟🍕😀😀 so it would be nice if it doesn’t always tag you out! In my opinion, I think these are the main problems. Other than that, this app is stellar and I definitely recommend it!

I like the app I just have a few issues with it.

Hey, I’m your average PopJammer but I have some issues with this app. Number 1: the unrealistic post filter. I make art and try to post to post it and it takes forever to post and there’s rarely anything wrong with my drawing. But then I see inappropriate posts being posted in 3 seconds or less and that really gets on my nerves. Number 2: the toxicity. There are so many toxic people on this app. Most of them being haters and/or art stealers. This app has become so toxic in just a few months. Number 3: OH MY GOD THE TAGS- I LITERALLY cant say ANYTHING. It’s so annoying- sometimes I cant even say “Hello” to someone- Number 4: the report-ban system. Me and some of my friends have been banned multiple times- we might literally do nothing wrong and be banned while there are mean and toxic people not being banned. I also think there should be more reasons to report people- not just “Inappropriate profile/username”. Number 5: sjsjsjsjs online. Dating. There are so many k i d s dating on this k i d s app. It’s just- not right in my opinion. Finally, Number 6: hahahahaahahah please add more to the drawing functions! Such as; layers, different brushes, bucket, re-do and more! | Note: I still enjoy being on this app, just pleAse fix these issues- 🥰
