Best app for training!
This is the best app available for users who are learning to communicate with voice output.... Ever! That said, it does tend to crash at in opportune moments and some of my kiddos are really good at overloading it back to the start menu. I don't know what I did before this app... I can't remember!
Love the Idea; Fails in Execution
I love the idea of this app but it certainly fails in execution. I've had difficulty on and off with recording so I generally bypass it. Now it is yet again frozen after the first selection. Absolutely not worth the price!!

Just like every program my school has purchased from RJ it's glitchy. We can not properly record students names and therefore have yet to use the program.
Description
Point to Pictures (PTP) and Scan To Pictures (STP, for switch(es))) are Augmentative Communication *training* apps designed for those persons *learning* to point/select a picture on an iPad in order to *get* that item in real life, and thus might help those that might eventually use the iPad to communicate via pictures and/or text. Using a library animations and pictures of real-world consequences, the learner learns to pair their switch action with receiving the actual item (food, toy, activity, person, song, etc.). PTP/STP *wants* you to add your *own* pictures that are personally motivating to *your* learner, because many times, only a few specific things really 'get through' to a learner.
