LOVE THIS GAME but lately...

I love this game because you can easily unlock all worlds/plants without spending any your real money. It takes time to unlock everything, but it’s possible and moves along smoothly. However, lately I have been losing a lot of data. I will plant my plants for orders, then when I revisit the app to collect submit my orders, my plants were never planted and I have the same orders. Sometimes it takes me 2 days to complete one order because of the data loss. Because of that, it takes me much longer to unlock plants. Please fix the data loss bug! It happened after the Halloween update!

Adorable and low pressure

It doesn’t require everyday management and it’s fun to see my steps be useful for something (aside my health ) and I love seeing my Fitbit telling me I’ve hit 10k and jumping right on to cash them out for gems. You don’t have to log in everyday but I do simply because it’s adorable and fun. The plants come with these hilarious blurbs and back stories, so be sure to check the info. It’s a good time killer too.

Cute and Relaxing Plants

I’ve been on and off with the game for years simply because I never really had a chance to walk anywhere heavily. While that is not the main component of the app, it did feel necessary in certain respects. It’s still remarkably relaxing though, and even a bit challenging when trying to grow and discover new seedlings. Would recommend for virtually anyone!

fun.. until it’s not.

update: i have since completed the game. i still have some plants to unlock, but since they hardly ever update the game, i have time. i currently have 1 billion energy. billion with a B, with nothing to spend it on. game gets boring really fast. not much has changed since my last review. i have had this game for a month or so, and it’s gotten really old really fast. i wanted an app that would motivate me to walk more and make a game out of it. walking in real life does not help this app out at all. walking IRL maybe contributes to 10% of the gameplay. i have 52 million energy saved up, but that’s not the walking kind. there is nothing i can spend that energy on. it just sits there, adding up. the energy i do get from walking can get traded at least, for goods. but it makes a small dent in what i need to progress in the game. getting amethyst is incredibly hard. i’m about 5 worlds in and i need 900 amethyst per plant to unlock it. it takes forever to earn that. by that time i do get it, i have earned 10 million energy. the scale of energy and amethyst is way off. it’s too easy to get energy and too hard to get amethyst. so now i sit, stuck in world 5, needing to unlock 3 plants i’ve already discovered, waiting to save up 2600 amethyst. that’s nearly 150,000 steps in game in order to trade for it. WHYYYYYY?! this game quickly became boring for me. to progress is getting too time consuming and i’m quickly losing interest.

A game you should consider downloading

Now I don’t normally write reviews but I feel like this game is worth it. I’ve had it downloaded for about 6 months now and it has never disappointed me. In the beginning it can be slightly demanding of your time and effort but once you’re further along it gets so much easier. I love how there’s a point system for how many steps you can take and how the game doesn’t require you to check in every single day. I’ve had it for quite some time and I haven’t unlocked all the worlds yet. There are countless games out there that require you to tend to things or else they die or whatever and I’m so glad this isn’t one of them. 😌 All in all, it’s a lovely game to help unwind after a stressful day at work. The gameplay is simple and the graphics are one of a kind. What more is there to love? 🌱✨

🌱✨ Absolutely Addicting ✨🌱

This game is really fun and I love how different in design each plant is! Including how many worlds I get to unlock. Even though I don’t have a Fitbit or an Apple Watch, I can still use my phone itself to track my steps and gain in-game gems and energy. It’s great that it’s not just inclusive to wearable technology! Plus, my plants don’t die or lose their yield if I don’t play the game for a while, which is fantastic! I have even recommended Pocket Plants to my mom who also likes the style of the game. It deserves “⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”! Well done! 👍🏽❤️

Amazing

I downloaded this game October of 2021 and its now August 2022 and I’m on world ten and almost unlocked everything. I totally recommend this game because it’s cute you merge plants and they’re adorable. And if your out of resources you go outside and walk around with your phone and then you can convert your steps into energy rubies or amethysts. You can connect it to your Fitbit Apple Watch or phone. There are weekly tasks and events and sales love this game 5 stars.

A little off

The game is cute. Certainly and I like the little story so far but it kind of feels like the game hasn’t been finished. The quality seems to be a little lacking. It also feels at least for me in a way rushed when ever there is dialogue. It also feels like it isn’t that direct. Like I know what I’m doing when I’m playing but it feels like there is something missing. There are parts that feel like they were thrown in just because you wanted the feature and not because it actually worked with what else was in the game. But I do like the cute little plants and being able to slowly get rid of the poulticing. I feel like with the way this game is set up it could really also be a fun educational game for just anyone about the environment. I don’t know if there are things like that in the game. But it would be super cool.

Two major flaws but other wise AMAZING

I absolutely adore this game and have had it quite a few times over the past year or so. It’s very cute and fun, but I do have two issues, the first being that amethysts are SO INCREDIBLY HARD TO GAIN. Energy is easy to keep up on but the amarthysts take forever to gain, at max you get 50 of them from completing an order every six hours. The second major flaw is that whenever I close out of the app SOME OF MY PLANTS DISAPPEAR! Specifically the ones I plant to complete orders, this happens almost every time I close the app and it’s very frustrating. Overall I love the game and will keep playing, but would love more to see these issues and bugs fixed

Tons of fun

Still tons to unlock for me though sometimes I get disappointed when I have to do quests for a few days to unlock new plants(on days I'm a bit busy and forget to check more than once a day) but the plants are really cute and it's really friendly to free players(tho if I had the money I would totally buy some stuff).I do kinda wish you could see the alternate faces(like when tap and hold or drag) in like the plant info screen or something(my fat fingers make it hard to see most of them lol). It's like 3am and I'm sleep deprived but I'm still playing because I'm hoping to have cute plant dreams.
