AFTER EFFECTS QUALITY KINETIC ANIMATION

What if there was an app that can create instant kinetic bold typography animation that equals top level After Effects quality? If you are a professional digital media artist who understands good design of minimalist on trend design aesthetic motion graphics, then you will love to play with PLAY. Ability to output broadcast quality motion graphic animation centered around one focus - typography and vector quality animations. Push button ease, pre-built stylish templates, ability to import and include images and vector overlays and much more. PLAY is a hidden gem for all pro and casual video editors. A perfect companion to plug into LumaFusion pro video workflow. You have seen all those awesome typographical kinetic motion graphics in commercials. Here is a little secret, I have used PLAY to create some amazing motion graphics that has been used in a major fashion brand ad campaign for television, created a hypnotic trippy geometric animation sequence for a trap music video and now completing a whole digital media ad campaign using PLAY to design a trendy black and white motion graphics centered around a brutalism aesthetic style for a major DJ producer. Not worth the money

You can’t even change the text size or the speed of the animations. You can only change the size of the text as if it was rasterized and not to actually allow certain amount of text to fit on a line. The animations are far too fast, you cannot add transitions to a second layer of text, it’s an extremely limited app not very useful for anything in the real world

Extremely fun!

I am looking to rebrand a tech startup I have with my friends and this is helping me brainstorm sooo many ideas in regards to motion. I was able to customize awesome text animations with ease.Is there a way to change the background color? Or am I missing something? Besides that, I feel like this app has some really good potential. I am definitely looking forward to future updates!

Great app with possible trouble shooting issues

Great app however experiencing an issue today. Everything fine last night. Worked all afternoon. But now every time I save it crashes before the download gets saved to my library on my device. I’ve done all on my part to see if was my phone. But no such luck. Maybe it needs an update possibly? I like this app a lot. I actually trying to insert the clips in a video I’m making for my business. Very helpful. I may suggest the swipe to the right action for text or images have a slower option. Unless using a video editor to slow it down so text can be read, it’s difficult to read or see the image if used. Other than that and the trouble shoot issue, I’m pleased. I’d rate it 5 stars had my video be savable. I will once it’s fixed

So many selections!

I’m having a great time animating text for Instagram with this app. The options are plentiful. I highly suggest using this app!!I only wish there were more font selections to allow my branding to remain coherent. I use Raleway and five other fonts regularly. Is there a way to load fonts that the app, similar to how apps like InShot and PicsArt allow?

Unfindable in Apple’s Search, too expensive & needs work

I ran across the app on my iPhone, went to put it on my iPad and using the keyword “Plays” got me no where near this app on the App Store. Animo may have to address this problem if they want people to find their app. Maybe it’s this lack of exposure that’s causing them to ask way too much from its subscribers. It’s a good app, but not worth $20/yr much less $4/mo. $1/mo & $10/yr if enough people know it exists. I won’t be using it anymore after my trial runs out. I may be back once they set reasonable rates, assuming I can find it again.This app also needs an iPad version, user selectable animation speed/distance adjustments and GIF export with Background Transparency. They’d also do well to support a Sticker Tray in Messages like many other apps do. This app would sell like crazy for that use alone if, again, they price competitively.

Love the app!

Best text animator. Only thing is that it REALLY heats up the phone battery (I use an iPhone 6) I can’t use the app for more than 5mins without it heating up, which is strange as it is the only app I have that does this even with no other apps open. Don’t know if it’s something you can fix. Still I love it.

This app is LIT!.... i wish it would stop glitching!

Ok there is nothing that I’ve found that has these minimalist very chic text and element motion graphics! It is soooo good gives you industry quality motion graphics for anyone building a brand, selling, creati an aesthetically pleasing IG, but if freakin glitcchhessss!! Sometimes it freezes up completely, sometimes you’ll get all the way through and can’t save, and sometimes it just kicks you out. Please guys please work on the glitching before adding more awesome elements, it’s bitter sweet not to be able to use them! I refuse to give up on this app I am positive they will fix this in 2021, STILL give it a try!

Only one problem...

Enjoy using the app. Easy to navigate, lots of options, especially when you upgrade, but I can’t seem to save any projects. Even after closing the app, restarting a project and leaving it on the “rending” screen for over 15 mins, the project unfortunately never saves. Crossing my fingers this problem gets solved soon 🤞🏼.

Underrated

I was searching for a text animation app a while ago and most of the highly rated apps were mediocre and didn’t have a lot variety. I decided to give this one a try, though. It’s very impressive. The animations were creative and smooth. I wasn’t limited to a small selection of options. I overall loved the style and design of the finished products. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone!Also, it’d be nice to see more font options in the future and perhaps an option to use a video for the background.
