To use this app, you need an internet connection and a real piano, acoustic or digital, or a synthesizer with piano sound. The app uses microphone of your device to detect notes you play. It waits for you to start playing, and can follow your rhythm by listening to you. It is also possible to connect a digital piano with Midi connection by using a USB to Midi cable and a USB Camera to Firewire adapter. In that case, the app is also able to check if you play all notes correctly. Main advantage of the app compared to paper, is that it permits you to go through a whole music sheet without the need of making pause to change or turn pages yourself, the music sheet advances at fixed speed or follows you by listening to your play. Music coming into play is always displayed in advance on the screen, including in the case of jumps in the music. When you discover new piece, you can also let the app play for you so you get better understanding of the music. You also have possibility to select a small part in a music sheet to practice, loop on it, slow down or accelerate, work on separate hands, mix hands when you feel ready for it. It is free to download the app and try a few songs to get better idea about the product features. If you register by simply giving your email address, you get free credits that you can spend on songs from the shop. No advertising will be sent to you, your email address is just used to keep track of your belongings. We propose to acquire additional songs at little price for lifetime. You can listen to all songs of the library for free. We also propose subscription plans if you want to be able to practice all available songs, and songs to come. If you play everyday two hours, your subscription price can be reduced to 6.6 cents per hour !... The app is configured for correctly tuned pianos, so best result should be achieved with digital pianos. However, we let possibility to the users to tune the app to a new instrument if they feel the need for it. It is as simple as creating a new piano profile and letting the app learn each note. Best experience with this app is when it is used with an iPad with biggest possible screen. However, it is possible to use it with an iPhone. The layout when playing music is just different.
