Families are a little complex

I think this app is great and simple. But there definitely needs to be a feature to add children to just one parent. I have grandparents who have kids together and then got divorced and got remarried with other kids. This app doesn’t have an option to separate kids to one parent or have a parent/grandparent together with current spouse.

Unrelenting request for ratings within 15 minutes of first use.

I had to give a rating to halt the interruptions asking for a rating. Having just downloaded and starting to use this app, I have no idea what I really think of it. I just know the experience is starting poorly. Can we hold off the begging for approval for at least 48 hours? One week would be better if you really want feedback based on the product.

Difficult to learn

This app puzzles me many times. It is difficult to remove a person you think is in the wrong place. The information is correct in the history but wrong elsewhere. I think I may have another program of Family Tree from the past. On the positive side, more information is being added that I did not know. Like dates of births of past generations. Betsy Greenway.

Minor changes

I love this app!I’m hoping to make a few suggestions as I would love to keep using this platform for my tree.1. Adding a wedding date or year to married couples2. Adding remarried spouses. For couples who have remarried after divorce and have kids with two different people. 3. Add a non photo option. To be able to add a name of someone you don’t have a photo of. 4. Most importantly, to sign in on an apple device not registered to you. To allow other family members to contribute to the tree. It’s hard because I only have my phone and everyone has to send photos to me. My husband can’t even log in on his phone5. Fix the iPad version. There is not a way to edit or view the full tree. Pretty frustrating when I want to show my family tree and I can’t display it on a big screen that’s interactive. .Thanks! I would love to see these changes overtime as the app is very user friendly.

I love how user friendly this is to make a simple family tree, but it is very limited in that I cannot add a divorce/remarriage. Especially considering how common divorce is, that seems a glaring omission. I would gladly pay to use premium if that were an option.Update: There’s a way to do this! On each person’s profile, you can uncheck a parent. They let me know via email and I have since purchased premium and am loving it. Thank you!

Nice Fun App!

This seems to be nice visual app for a small family tree. It might get unwieldy for a very large genealogy though! One thing that would boost the rating from me would be the ability to place/reorder the images in order of birth date. Currently the images get added with no regard to actual birth dates so if you add out of order your tree is wrong.

Family tree

This app has help my cousin and I put together a family tree so fast and easy. Our grandfather had 26 kids and we are trying to put us all on a tree and this app was the best choice

Very useful tool

This app is pretty cool even in the basic form without premium! I do wish they had a feature to allow you to add divorces and remarriages since both sets of my grandparents are divorced and remarried and I would like to add them to the tree.

Upload isn’t custom. It has to have a face to upload

Update: app requires facial scan. Stay away. Developer responded saying the app is only made for family trees. I found a better app called Quick Family tree that doesn’t require facial scan and you can upload photos Im working on pedigrees and when I upload photo, the app wants to scan for a face. If there is no face , it won’t upload. This is weird to me and I shouldn’t have to have a face scanned. I’m doing this to manage horse pedigrees and I can’t with this app. Seems like they’re tracking faces to me. Stay away.

Needed updates

I think some updates you need to add are separate family trees that don’t have to be linked for you to make them, divorces, adoption And to Show that they are adopted put adopted on their line,that’s really all keep up the good work!
