Most effective app but missing key feature
This is hands down the best app on the market to clean up photos and sort by size and remove duplicates. The only issue is that I can’t filter by local storage and iCloud. I’m you should be able to filter between photos that are on the cloud vs ones that are stored locally on the phone.
Nice changes to 3.0
I like the changes but would like you to consider adding “Big Files” as an option under All Photos. That would eliminate the extra step to go to All Photos then changing sort option to size. Nice update though. Like another reviewer said, which there was another way to reach support. I don’t do Facebook either. At least have an email or something.Update: Glad to see developer responded to me from my review although I still wish there was an alternate way to contact because I don’t Facebook. I look forward to the update he spoke about.
CAUTION: Very aggressive trial and pricing
This app is decent. It does as advertised but I don’t think it’s very effective if you have a large photo library - it definitely misses lots of duplicates. I also wish that it had the ability to detect duplicate videos. The most annoying part, however, is the trial period for the app is only 3 days, after which it charges you for the entire year. A bit cut throat if you ask me. I’d avoid this app.
Won't compress videos
This app used to work well. But when I try to compress videos or photographs, it tells me it will only compress what is not in iCloud. I had deleted this app for a couple months for this very reason & just now re-downloaded it. I used the iCloud Downloader within your app & downloaded the files. But I am still getting 0 kB to save at top right for each section of pictures when I try to compress the selected files. The compression wheel just keeps turning but doesn't compress. Nothing is new about this app except the ICloud downloader since the time I deleted it before. I'm very frustrated with this app that was working for me in the past! PLEASE HELP. P.S. Even though you have new versions available, I don't see any updates available (unless it automatically downloaded the most recent update when I redownloaded it from the App Store).
Useful and annoying
After the update with delete while viewing photo capability added it makes comparing exact file sizes and dates easier while flipping through. But you still have to back out after deleting one photo (because the delete button locks up) and wait for duplicates to be searched again, rinse repeat.
Cannot get compression feature to work.
All the other features seem to get to work, but can no longer get compression feature to work. Cannot upload video to your Facebook page to explain. It says “compression failure.”Wonder if it can ever link to other online cloud services besides icloud to delete, upload download etc.Been using your app for almost 10 years.
You just what I needed!
After upgrading to my latest IPhone I discovered the process, that didn’t go smoothly, resulted in a ton of duplicate photos. Photo cleaner allowed me to correct the problem quickly and easily without the app trying to take over my photo library life. Best money I’ve spent in a long time.
Simple and Effective
Easily the best photo sorter/management app I’ve ever had. There’s no shortage of ways to sort and filter your camera roll regardless how specific of a task you’re trying to accomplish. If you’re a phone storage control freak like me, this is definitely worth the subscription. My one and only gripe is that it inflates file size estimates for some reason some of the time. The overall album storage estimate is always correct, though. This is a minor issue and it doesn’t detract from the app’s functionality much at all. TLDR: great app! would recommend.ps the magic eraser and in-app compression are fantastic features. the eraser works so well it’s almost scary
Absolute best photo cleaner compressor
This is the best available handy app in the market. Very simple format, extremely efficient. It worth every penny. I am so glad that I found it. It not only scan duplicates, cleans, it compresses multiple photos very fast. Thanks for developing this. I am recommending it to all my friends. Happy customer here.
Best duplicate remover
I don't compress or ever resize pictures but I do loathe space being wasted on duplicate photos. This app lets you find exact duplicates with ease and also allows you to track down lower quality versions of the same image. This keeps you from wasting space and spending the time moving them off to your PC just to need to do the same thing there. Also when looking through your photo collection you spend less time searching with all the duplicates removed.
