To be honest..

Hah got ya ! This is an amazing app/ game it has many cute gifts and a ton of adorable otters and at least for me pretty time consuming (not to much but that’s quite alright) bunch of cool foods! I really like to play this game with free time. But I would really love if you could add toys for the otters I’m just imagining it right now and it looks soooo cute (I do think it has a few toy but I would like if you could press it and one of the otters would play with it!)think it might get a few more players and what would be cool for the new play is to see them chilling and playing on the beach but than the hurricane came (pls add a skip tho cuz some people don’t like it 😅) so honestly it’s a pretty great app I would totally recommend this as a new app

Cute but that puffer fish is my nemesis

I think this game is super cute and definitely has a lot of potential, but my ability to sit back, relax, and enjoy the otters is interrupted by how constantly the game wants you to spend money/watch ads. I wish there was an option to turn that horribly obnoxious puffer fish off, and no matter how many options I click on the notification for the shop isn’t going away. I’m not complaining about the option of watching ads for shells or spending money, it’s just how obnoxious it is to have that exclamation point or see that dang puffer fish circling around where I’m trying to click. I really want to just have an option to turn off the puffer fish. Instant star back. I was actually willing to watch a few ads at first to build up my shells, but very frequently the ad just wouldn’t let me close it at all, so I’d need to refresh. The first time I did this I actually lost Dora, my fourth Otter, and lost my progress. It took me 20 minutes to manage to get a lucky spin and land on another otter. I’m not sure if the ad thing is the app’s fault, but it’s really frustrating.

Lost my progress...

I really enjoyed this game, it was the best game I have ever played. The thing was that as soon as I finished zoom school, I hopped on and proceeded to play for 2 hours. When suddenly, the game crashes but that isn’t the main problem because it happens all the time to my other apps, but the problem was that I had lost every single piece of my progress. I didn’t notice at first, so I started washing my otter then I realized when I was feeding my other otter, mostly every single piece of my food and money were gone. Including 40 of the golden fish (I forgot what it was called) that I worked so hard for. Hopefully you understand where I am coming from, I gave it 3 stars because that aside it was the most perfect game I have ever played. Sorry I complained but I do know something that happened before the game crash. Right before it crashed, I was opening a chest and just when it landed on 30 shells, it crashed. Thanks for reading my complaint if you did, this is a really amazing game so you should definitely download it that was the only thing I had to say so thanks again for reading!

Starts out great, ends annoying

The game starts out really fun, and really cute, but I feel like it gets less fun to play or to deal with as the game goes on. For example in the beginning of the game there are a lot of stories being told by the different otters, different quests, and items to collect. The dive times were also less long. By the time I got more into the game, some of the dive times were 10 minutes long, with four otters that I had to feed afterwards, that would only come back with one item. To me that is ridiculous, if I’m sending out four otters and have to pay to feed for otters, it would make sense for them to come back with at least two items if not more. Once I got into the cavern and got connected to the dessert world, was when I started to get really annoyed. The desert world is kind of cute, But everything there is super expensive, the otters are much more expensive to feed, because so far none of them have favorite foods that give them double hearts, and there’s only one dive site that they keep going in and over and over again with not a lot of result. I play it because it’s one of the better games that I found and it really is a fun and cute story in the beginning, I love the ocean world, and almost feel emotionally attached to all of my little otters in there, but as the game progresses it gets less fun to play more tedious, and more of a time and money grab.

BEST GAME EVERR

Please read until the end:If you are looking for a new game to play then turn to otter ocean. My friend showed me it and ever since I can’t get off my phone. I’ve had it a few months and I haven’t gotten bored once. It has problem solving situations, adorable otters, money in shells and everything anyone could wish for. NOTE: It may be four and up but do not think for a second that this game is babyish. I’m in 4th grade and feel like I could play it until college. I would like to make one and only one negative comment. I only just opened dessert island, but after you open all of the islands what then? All you do is feed otters. If u have all the otters from the island it just seems boring. I guess that you play until the end but I don’t know. I think you should update it and make it a game that lasts longer. Like forever. Cuz it’s so goood! A special comment that rises this game even higher is the decision to watch or not watch adds. I got sick of adds after a week and never watch them anymore. Sure the game runs slower because of the lack of otters and shells I can now collect but I have that choice. Great game I highly recommend it ad please please at least try. U will get connected with ur otters.Extra: My favorite otter so far is the third one you get in ocean world:)

Great game but just recommendations.

I really enjoy this game. But about the new update. On some of the boxes u get it only gives you shells. I waited about 8 mins and I got 50 shells. It didn’t help because I already had about 2500 shells. Another thing is the notifications. This doesn’t rely to your game but this is just personal. I don’t really like the exclamation points. It’s gets me annoyed. That’s just me though. Great game concept. This made me love otters so much. It’s super fun and I play it as a night game. If I forget to check I do it the next day. About the missing people. I have a question. Will you add anymore missing crabs? I was sad when I reached the last day, but I loved the prize. Again great game and looking forward to future updates.❤️❤️

Great for kids

I downloaded and played this game to see if it was ok for my daughter. The short answer is yes this game is great for kids. The long answer is the concept is great, the cost to play in game is super fair, but there isn’t enough content.I played the game and got to the second island. After I arrived I soon found there wasn’t anything else to really do. I would say this game is in beta stage IMO.There is a cost (shells) to buy food or supplies to take care of your otters but between the amount found by your otter every minute, the amount you find when your otters are searching, and the amount you get from watching an AD, there really is no need to conserve. The developer even does random discounts on the costs of the food that changes every 2-3 minutes in their market place. This game is very fair. If you search and area so much as to have found all the items you can keep searching to find a bunch of shells and if you watch an Ad to go again for free you can basically net 120 shells every time they search. By the time I got to the second isle I had over 2k in shells and all my food was around 50 quantity. There was no need to stress.This game can be real fun if they just update and add more to it. Good times all around!!

Got great potential

I see this game is fairly new. I think there are some things to work out and it’s at a very good “base”. I absolutely love otters and enjoy the game as an adult. I’m a little weary of buying anything because for the price you’re asking and what I receive is not equivalent. You’re asking a lot for what little it would get me in the game. I’m really not interested in paying such prices for a limited package that could last days? I’ll stick with it and see how it goes. I like to update my reviews so let me spend some $$ and see how it goes :) - I enjoy the otter story line and where this game is going to go but when I send my otters off for treasure at least here and there when I’m sending multiple otters 2 could come back instead of only 1 always. - the ads are really pushy. I don’t mind watching them here and there but they’re popping up so often it feels like it would be the games downfall if anything. - if you’re really just aiming for children they’ll do and buy anything so take this how you will.

Wonderful!

I LOVE this game! It’s so much fun! The otters are precious, the gameplay has a lot of reward, and it’s relaxing! I love love love it! I paid $4 for it not to have ads. You get great stuff watching the 30 second ads and it’s not bad to play with them at all! I just loved it so much I figured it’d be worth it! And it is DEFINITELY worth it to pay for no ads! So fun! Your artist is so talented!! As well as everyone on the team! If I could make one request! I know the space one is on sale for $20 and that’s awesome but maybe in the future could it be something you can work for as well? Space is like my FAV thing ever and I’d love to see how amazing the art is for the space one! I just don’t have that kind of money ever for fun stuff. :/ Literally this game is perfect! I love it!! ❤️

Incredible potential

I adore this game a lot and have actually been watching a lot of ads despite hating that annoying pufferfish because the prizes are really good compared to other games. Although there are a lot of advertisements for their own buyable in-game products, it’s fairly easy to get what you need by watching a few pufferfish ads and buying the items you need.I would love to see more areas. The only 2 areas you can get is one that is insanely expensive and another which is locked until the first island is finished. I think having a few 99cent islands or new otters would make it easy for people to get them rather than having us buy 4$ worth of content that isn’t even real or 39$ worth of content that basically just is another island. That way, even if they’re small islands with one diving spot or just a few collectible otters and items, it would allow people to get a brand new food item or explore in a new area.
