Teriffic resource

OptiLingo has been a terrific resource for learning vocabulary and phrases when studying Hindi. It's convenient for times when I'm too busy to fill a complete lesson at once. If you want to concentrate on just writing or just listening for that session, you can toggle exercises on and off. Romanization is another feature that can be switched on or off because, in my experience learning Hindi, it can sometimes make things a little unclear. It may be fully adjusted to fit your own learning preferences. There are many different subjects from which to choose.

Favorite language app! Unique and very effficient

Optilingo is by far my favorite language app! I have completed the Italian and French courses, and in a few weeks I refreshed all the forgotten knowledge and learned countless new phrases. You get so much value with this app, there are 100 lessons which cover pretty much everything, the audio is of a very high quality, and overall the app is very straightforward and easy to use. No adds or locked lessons or anything like that, and the best part is that while moving from the first lesson to the 100th, you really feel your progress! I always turn it on when brushing teeth or cooking or before going to bed, it’s so easy to create a learning routine with it!

Love the app!!

I’m Circassian and I’ve been using this app for quite some time now to brush up on my language skills so I can talk to my family more and honestly I see a remarkable improvement. Normally it’s easy for me to lose interest in apps and i’ve used Duolingo before to learn Russian but I found OptiLingo more helpful! I’m able to have a decent conversation now and I honestly can’t wait to see even more IMPROVEMENT with myself! It makes learning more intriguing and when you see the results you get even more motivation :)

Super helpful with improving my Chinese

I just had to state plainly how fantastically useful and effective this tool is. It teaches you genuinely helpful phrases and vocabulary, which I find astonishing, regardless of the language you are learning. No other language learning program on the "App Store" teaches you a language in such detail, as far as I'm aware. I am using OptiLingo to study Chinese, and I find it to be quite useful and successful. I've tried a lot of language learning applications for Chinese and apps just for learning Chinese, but none of them compare to the excellence and quality that this one offers. I appreciate how they added Pinyin to help with reading. This program definitely helps you develop a strong foundation and, in some circumstances, I think it may even help you become fluent. My knowledge of Chinese has really improved thanks to this software! By providing bite-sized lessons, this app makes learning a foreign language both simple and motivating. This software is great, and I can't wait to see what other incredible things I may say and accomplish with its assistance in other nations!

Definitely worth the purchase

One of the best language learning applications is this one. It is easy to understand and efficient. The sentences are helpful right from the start. They are brief excerpts of actual conversations. Instead of saying "The horse eats apples," say "I'll let him know," or "Yeah, we can go." Furthermore, I believe premium is totally worthwhile. It's a good improvement, and I purchase it when I'm prepared to conduct numerous reviews for a month or two. allows you to set the number of rounds you want to play, up to playing forever.

Great App, Love the Inclusivity

It’s truly amazing how much technology has advanced; you can now learn languages for free when you used to have to pay loads just to learn basic phrases. It’s especially endearing to me how this app teaches Circassian, which is so hard to come by. It’s hard being diaspora and not having access to the language as easily as others would overseas. This app has helped me with sentences I used to struggle with and I think I’ll come out of it with the ability to speak Circassian fluently.

I’m enjoying the product and my progress

I subscribed a few months ago, and I’m already about 80% done with the Spanish course. I really like how straight, simple and to the point the app is. It does what it says and says what it does – teach you a wide range of helpful, useful phrases and vocabulary. If you sign up for the free trial, you’ll see what the app is all about. In each lesson, they give you new phrases, and then you review those phrases over the course of a week. For my own part, I found that after a week or so, the phrases just sort of “set in”, and I could use them pretty easily. I saw a blog post from the founders somewhere (Reddit? Quora?) where they suggested doing a lesson in the morning, and the same lesson in the evening. I gave it a try, and I saw a pretty big improvement in my learning.

Good but can improve

Hello, I’m learning Kabardian on it and have a membership. The app is good and has many phrases but I wish they were more phrases and lessons. Also I noticed they are some discrepancies between the written words and the spoken words in some lessons. For example, it is written ныщхьбэ for tonight , but she is saying нобэ пщыхьэщхьэм in lesson 34 review. There are also other examples of written discrepancies too. I suggest you guys fix these discrepancies and add pictures to the phrases. Please add titles to the lessons.( I mean if lesson 1 is about introductions then write introductions for the title)Also it would be nice if you added a verb section for 300 commonly used verbs and their examples in different tenses, in the conditional mood or other moods, with different directional affixes and other affixes for Kabardian and other languages. West Circassian/Adyghean would be nice too. Also add some more advanced lessons too. Also I noticed the Arabic section is in formal Fusha which is not so colloquial. Syrian or Egyptian Arabic would be good. Overall it is good, it has useful phrases and a good amount of review.

It’s a good app but good be better.

I downloaded this app and gave Korean and Japanese a shot. It’s a good app but a bit limited in terms of function. The app is good, if a bit basic and rigid in terms of it’s structure since every language can’t made to fit into these 100 lessons and expanding and adding on some features will make the app more robust in terms of it’s learning potential. Some additions I would love to see added to the app would be speech recognition to help perfect my pronunciation. The ability to point and click at each word/letter in the sentence and have it replay that particular word. All in all I appreciate the non gamification of the app and it’s strict focus on learning everyday sentences from the start. However, I do also wish the app had specific notes on each sentence ala the Mango language app to put things in context and to indicate additional things to note about that sentence such as Korean having different politeness levels in their speech. The same cold be said for Japanese as they’re certain terms you can only say to a blood relative vs a friend and having a cultural note inbetween the phrases or after would be most helpful.

Give it a shot

The sessions themselves are enjoyable and might keep you interested in learning more. I studied Hindi for over a year before starting to study Arabic. Unfortunately, I don't have somebody with whom to practice the words I've learned, but doing so would help you really cement your memory of them. But the software is not at responsible for it. Bottom line: Ever since I started, it has kept me interested. I've been on this streak for 120 days, which is probably the longest streak I've ever begun and maintained in my life. Test it out!
