Awesome
What I like about this version is that I can try to guess with just one or two pictures to earn more points for free letters. What I liked about a previous version of the same type of game is that I was able to get bonus puzzles when I needed to get more points to solve a more challenging puzzle and get a letter 60 points. Also the other version said I was awesome instead of correct which I liked better.
Only ok.
Some of the pictures used are hard to make anything out in them. And some of the pictures simply do not represent the words. How are you supposed to look at a picture of rising smoke and guess it means "candle?" I don't think that was a fair clue. There are many instances like that...where the picture clue is so remote from the word they are of no help at all. A picture of a jack-o-lantern is not "candy" and shouldn't be given as the first clue.
Fun game
Fun and unique game. Some of the pictures are a bit too esoteric. There will be one really tough group on each level surrounded by easier ones. Seems to be a grab for money. I refuse to pay and the odd ball one prevents you from moving up a level which is annoying. They need to give other form of hint not involving paying real coins.
Addictive
Addictive game for sure. It's a bit different than the other pic games since you can choose how many pics to reveal. It does also become more challenging the further you get. I like that you can skip one if your stuck, which does happen somewhat often as some of the pics are pretty misleading. I do wish either you could "earn" more coins easier or the clues were cheaper because I'm not spending money on a game like this.
This game makes you think!
I like word games so this is perfect for me, besides you don't need an Internet connection to play it. At times it takes longer to get the word because the pictures don't have anything in common. You just have to be patient and persistent.
Nice Challenge!
I fell a few months ago and suffered a fractured vertebrae in the first two vertebrae (broken neck). After surgery and subsequent intense Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy, my therapists worked with me for several months to help restore cognitive thinking skills. My Speech Therapist saw this game and a couple other similar games and encouraged me to get and see what I thought about them. This is one of my favorite "free to download" games. I love 4 Pics Puzzle because it lets me proceed at my own pace and build coins so that should I need help on more challenging puzzles I can get it and periodically I will receive an email notice of a letter that I might be able to use on a puzzle that has stumped me for a time. I'm a grown, mature 68 year old man who plays this game and have put it on both my iPhone and iPad so that I always have it with me whenever I want a special challenge. Thank you.

Not for everyone
A great game for the true puzzle lover but not for those unable or unwilling to take the time necessary to find not-so-obvious answers. Of course the task gets increasingly difficult as one progresses, but, while some of the solutions are pretty much unsolvable on the first or second picture because the so-called clues are so far-fetched, if one is capable of thinking totally outside the box and making clever associations, the majority of the puzzles offer a challenge and are definitely brain exercise. I don't often spend money on games unless they are totally engaging and offer something more than a way to kill time. Not sure yet if his one is worth an outlay, but you might want to give it a try.
Great game
I love seek & find, puzzles & games that make you think. This game kinda fits it all. The further you go, the tougher it can get. At times you really have to think outside the box. A bit frustrating when you have to figure out every single picture group before you can move on. And I will not spend money. I may end up staring at the same group of pix for days. It would be great if you could get a hint with out having to spend coins or real money.
Great
Game works smoothly. I like that you don't have to be connected to the Internet, or Facebook, or twitter, etc to play. I like that you earn extra coins if you solve without revealing all the pics, and that you can skip over a pic if you get stuck & continue with others. Good game. Some puzzles easy, some challenging. Some of the puzzles have one picture that is a weak fit to the word.
