Good app but family share is misleading

App claims to support family sharing, it does not since you have to purchase in-app to actually use the app for more than three letters.

Dave and Eva numbers

I love the interaction with the numbers and my grandkids ages 23 months look forward to sit with me with the iPad. Time together very valuable.

Doesn’t support family sharing

Wonderful app and I absolutely love the product. HOWEVER it says it supports family sharing but does not. Had to re-purchase on multiple devices. Only app I know like this. Scammy business practices.

Perfect except need IPad 4 app

We love all Dave and Ava apps and vids. I have twin 3 yo with autism and they have really taken to using the D and A apps and have figured out how to use them! I’m so proud of the. They love the tracing of letters/numbers. Unfortunately, they have iPad 4s cuz, let’s face it, they are 3 yo. I can’t afford buying two 3 yo the newest tech available. The tracing part of the D and A apps don’t work on iPad 4, and that part just shows a white screen. They do however work in my iphone8+...but I can’t very well let them have my phone whenever suited then as it’s, you know, my phone. (Plus I only have 1!)I don’t imagine it will ever happen, but I’d be sooo thrilled and relieved if somehow they hade the apps filling compatible with older iPads.

False advertisement

My daughter absolutely loves this app. So why did I give it only one star? Because even though it says you can use family sharing, you can not in fact share anything that isn’t already free for everyone to get anyway. I did not find this out until after I purchased full access to the app on my phone. Before doing so I checked for the family share emblem. It wasn’t until I attempted to transfer that purchase to my daughters iPad and failed that I discovered the fine print saying that “inapp purchases” could not be transferred. This effectively makes the family sharing nonexistent and is an end around that functionality so that they can have the emblem but yet not actually provide the service. I will be asking for my money back for my original purchase.

Recurring charge!!!

First you tell us it free. Then you tell us we need to pay 2.99 to get the full app. Then when I see my credit card it says recurring charge of $3.25. Recurring charge!!! How many time I need to pay for this app. And how much! Tell me at once.
