If You Love Strategy, American Civil War Settings, And Your Fond of H & C, This Is for You.

Yea, there glitches. Yea, it’s unfair FOR YOU, which is why strategies (And the usage of your brain) are essential to winning some battles. Save your gold for the OP units. Save your resources. Save your troops, don’t throw in a random militia and sit back. You’ll get wrecked. I played this since day 1 and you think it was fair back then? NOPE. If you call this game a P2W, you haven’t played long enough to rate it 1 star.Overall very great game. The battle I’m currently fighting is the lag, it goes down to 20 FPS at times. But I am dedicated and addicted to this game. If you love fighting alongside your troops, capturing buildings, getting new gear and upgrading it, and having to use your brain for to come up with strategies, then this game is most definitely for you.JUST REMEMBER: save your gold for the Op units, and your good as GOLD (get it? Gold? Ah, whatever).

Great But Some Issues

It is a fantastic game. I play it constantly and can’t wait to play more. However, some issues are in the game just like any game. I very much dislike that you have to retreat from going into melee with enemies. I would much rather just run away on my own because when I have to retreat just to get out of doing melee, it really ruins the flow of the battle. I also wish you could level up your character just a little faster. Continuing to rise through the Skirmish ranks and levels in the campaign can cause a player to be severely under-leveled, making them have no chance in higher ranks but breeding through anything below it. Many obstacles that look like cover are actually not, and this has caused my death on more than a few occasions. Framerate drops are everywhere, but I’m sure this will be better sooner or later. Other than all these, I love the game. It’s the most fun mobile game I’ve played in a very long time. Keep supporting it, and I’ll keep playing it. Thanks for listening, guys.

One of if not the best game available for iOS

I've played some great mobile games on the App Store for 5 years now- from Clash of Clans to Hearthstone to Summoners War to BTDB to World of Tanks to Vainglory to Clash Royale. All had a pay to win component, but all had outstanding gameplay that was unique to mobile genre and are pay to speed up progress, but not absurdly overly pay to win. I'd add Noblemen 1996 to that list of best mobile games without a doubt. It's not overly pay to win (just pay to speed up progress), is very unique with both an arcade-like shooter incorporated and strategic turn based gameplay with mechanics found in rts games. Easily one of the best games out there on the App Store and definitely work downloading. Some things that would be cool in the future: a hearthstone-arena-like mode (draft cards and battle with them) and a live multiplayer game would be really cool (vs current attacking vs ai defending skirmish battles).

A well-made game

This is probably the best game for the Action Genre on the apple store in my opinion. It also has that fancy twist of after the Civil War and alternate reality both of which I never thought I’d see 2 years ago when I got this.In this game it’s almost NEVER a pay to win, gold is very accessible and so is silver. The weapons and gear will balance out your gameplay so you don’t need to spend 50$ to get your Ranger Class to level 5.If you do spend money: things in the store are nice and fair. I love how in every game the enemy has the advantage on you so that’s what makes it a great strategy game and why it beats away all the others. The only truly bad thing is the add pop-ups and you’ll see that every so often, but it would be more convenient to have an add when you choose to.The graphics are pretty high-detail for a mobile game and that’s not saying much but the game itself is pretty beautiful and I love the variety of maps and soldiers that are used throughout the levels.

Love this game

Basically everything about this game is awesome. Tho I do have some complaints. Both involve the ads. One is that literally every time I open this game it forces an ad on me. Hate that. Second is when I actually want to watch an ad for needed resources, after I watch the ad the game gets stuck in this infernal, never ending loading screen. Hate that too. Only way to fix that is exit and renter the game. Which leads right back into ad problem one. Redundant. Please fix. Ads are whatever. In and of themselves they don’t bother me. But when these problems happen. It gets annoying really fast.Other than that, I love this game. The aesthetics, the gameplay, the level up and upgrade system, the storyline, the lore, the pace, the tactics needed, easily accessible gold and silver, gear, weapons, armor, shields, cannons, ships, Tesla tech, and so much more. Absolutely a fan of this game.

Yeeaaah boooiii

Noblemen is a great game I love history and steampunk so this is a great mix for me. I wish it wouldn’t take ages to increase your global rank cause I’ve been wanting to use the war elephant but I’ve been stuck at global rank 11 for a billion years. Some things I think would be cool to add is some type of zeppelin or plane dropped turret or maybe soldiers. That would be really cool. Make it easier to earn money because once a month you get a ton of gold but I burn it all in a second because my troops cost 15-20k to upgrade. The survival game mode was a great addition but it’s hard as beans. You really need to fix the multiplayer for the survival because it’s super laggy. Maybe add another type of tile that has a crashed airship or frigate that would be super cool. Or a tile with a run down old civil war base. :D sound effects in this game are so good and so are the graphics. The new skin update is cool with the noblewomen and gearman and stuff but it would be even cooler if you had a girl voice with the skin equipped. I was using the gearman and was taking fire but the same old man voice was yelling. Idk this game is so but there just seems to be so much repetitive content. Mainly because you’re u have to grind a lot to unlock stuff cause things get super expensive. I hope you guys don’t ignore this and maybe consider my suggestions. But I gave this game a 5 Star cause it got me through long boring study halls.

A Masterpiece!

This game is what every other IOS/Android game should strive to be. It has so much content for the users, from hundreds of different units and officers, 4 main classes with 4 different guns that change how you play that class each, a campaign that employs some sort of board-game-ish gameplay and a quick battle mode, a strategic battle mode, and third/first person shooter mode, dozens of maps, etc. I personally love the Civil War-WW1-Steampunk-futuristic style that this game accomplishes, and it accomplishes it perfectly. The graphics are also amazing for a mobile device, and mine can run the game at decent settings with decent FPS. The strategy that you use in each match changes with the units you use, the units the enemy uses and your available loadouts and guns. The game also encourages you, not forces you, to change setups quite often. For example, you can take down steam carriages much easier with the anti-armor loadout, but that doesn't stop you from taking them down with the support or the standard loadout, it just makes you aim for weaker spots in the armor while also trying to hit the crew members/critical components. Oh yeah, and you can have more than one army/battalion on screen. You can even have up to 3, including the enemy, that's without counting the support units! Good job Foursaken Media! You have created a masterpiece!

Small Improvements

This is a great game, but here are some small things to improve it. 1. Crouching, crouching is something that would be very nice to have in hard mode, so you don’t feel so exposed. 2. Multiplayer, adding more multiplayer elements would greatly increase the playability, content, and player base of this game. Multiplayer campaigns, coop campaigns, and 2v2 campaigns would be the awesomest thing ever. 3. Adding the ability to become one of your troops, to enter, for example, a militia, and the rest of the unit would follow you. 4. Adding fortifications, like trenches, or bunkers being on the battlefield and being able to go inside them. You would be able to use war points on a piece of land and add trenches or , for example, a watchtower or something. The forts would be in battles as well, and you’d be able to go inside buildings and use them for cover. Thank you for making such an awesome game!!!

Forsaken Media Epicness!

It’s a fantastic game that goes beyond what I expect for third person shooters, in part due to the strategy required to win each battle, the way that you can play from either a radar standpoint (where your character is controlled by a A.I.) or on the ground from 3-Person view. This game has a very Heros and Castles feel to it, (player advances through story mode via optional replayable levels, can spawn groups of allies to assist in battle, AI units and player unit and non non-unit support can level up, etc. ) which I attribute to it being made by the same Awesome company. This comparison is not a complaint, but a highly earned compliment as I am a major Heroes and Castles fan. This similar yet unique app will continue to be recommended, and I look forward to more improvements in the future. Oh, there is one minor issue I have found: the zoom feature in the radar/overlooking-battlefield view during battle is mostly unresponsive when I pinch my screen, please note and fix when possible.

Update?

I very honestly love this game. Today marks my 60th day of playing. As I’ve been playing for a while, I beat the game, but I’m not one of those people who would go out of their way to get 100% with all the stars and the highest skirmish level, get all the weapons, or achieve the highest levels in the game. I love the game, but playing the same levels gets repetitive and kinda boring. I’ve been playing Foursaken’s games for over 5 years now and since then, I’ve loved every game, but Noblemen could do with an update. It’s not fun going on every day to claim gold and silver and quit the app. I want to keep playing this game and I really do hope for some good updates in the future.Side note: Foursaken, if you’re reading this, I would really love an update for Block Fortress and Block Fortress: War. Block Fortress was where I started playing your games in 2012. I remember playing that game the first few minutes and I knew I loved your company. A year or 2 later when Block Fortress: War came out, I was so psyched that you had released a new game. To this day, I strive to progress in Block Fortress and Block Fortress: War. I look forward to updates in all three games (if they ever come) and hope that your company strives for years to come.
