The TrueDepth Camera uses an infrared emitter to project over 30,000 dots in a grid pattern that are recorded by an infrared camera. This information is used to calculate spacial depth "pixels". NightVision processes this spacial depth information into a color gradient, thus exposing the geometry of a scene without visible light. DEVICE REQUIREMENTS •NightVision requires a device with FaceID •NightVision requires ARKit NOTES •NightVision works with just the front-facing selfie camera. We are working on a future version that will use the rear-facing LIDAR available on some Apple devices. •NightVision does not detect infrared heat signatures
