A useful tool for determining truth

Headlines are now dominated by many articles that are misleading clickbait. This is because news agencies are rewarded for the number of clicks and views they get instead of the quality of their reporting. The Newstrition app is helpful because it allows you to easily see user ratings, publisher data, and relevant sources for any article you read. You can rate articles yourself to contribute to the public good. This app will be become even more helpful as more people download it and start rating the news. Hopefully it can help us distinguish fact from fiction.Simply put, this app greatly improves the experience of reading the news.

Not sure what’s going on here. Good idea, poor execution

I think the whole premise is that the app is supposed to crowdsource fact-checking and bias identification, but the user interface is so clunky that it's not even worth it for me to try to rate anything. Also, the first three categories are Top Stories, Trending News, and Headlines, which all seem to mean the same thing? Seems that the only thing this app has going for it is the catchy "Newstrition" name, but most articles "newstrition" labels have nothing in them, rendering them useless. It is just a super new service? I had SUPER high hopes for this, I've been looking for a way to verify the quality of my news. It's a good idea, but not very well executed.-Kiersten, 23, OH
